I am not convinced that they were fighting that hard, defensive fighting doesn't take nearly as much effort. The general rule is one defensive fighter for each four offensive fighters. Holding ground in your fortifications is much easier than advancing. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

I think there will be a negotiated settlement where Ukraine gets most of their Eastern territory back but concedes Crimea to Russia. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Unless Navalny is released from prison I don't see any of the other likely replacements withdrawing. I actually think many of the others will be more dangerous. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Most think it is very insignificant military wise but should be good for Russian PR. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |
