Russia's economy is in a bad way, but not so bad as to cause widespread unrest. Inflation is around 8.5%, but we see Western media crowing about the 65% increase in the cost of spuds. Alongside price inflation, there's rampant wage inflation too. Many citizens are daft enough to think that wage inflation is a good thing and that it makes them richer. Price of the rouble only matters when Russians try to spend them abroad.

As to locking up Butter, UK supermarkets frequently lock up Razor blades, Washing machine tablets and prime joints of meat. Many other items are security tagged. It's no big deal.

If Putin is the kind of leader who doesn't like to hear bad news from subordinates, that's a real handicap if things are going South. But it would still take some brave people and probably coordinated organization to overthrow him.

No idea who would be likely to take his place.

I agree 100%. Any person that starts to get any political ambition disappears.

I don't see him getting overthrown until the general public revolts in a big way which in Russia may get them killed or sent to prison.

I tend to find most videos by that channel to be very biased but I did not watch this one. That is a channel I usually skip because of bias. I probably still watch and read about an hour each day on the Ukraine war.

I saw it was only a week old and had 1 million views
That alone impressed me. Shows how easy it is to impress me lol
So I watched. Seemed legit as I learned a lot.
I enjoyed the video as I watched the whole thing. A lot of videos I bail on.
I then posted it here

Yes it is a very biased channel.

I wonder if it's backed by companies making huge profits from western countries arming Ukraine

It appears to me that the free press isn’t covering this war. Most detailed reports are propaganda from one side or the other.
