Russian Ruble now at 105.5 to the dollar. Inflation is crazy in Russia right now. Borrowing rates are now 29% in Russia. For those of you that believe Russia is doing well I suggest you invest in Russia where a typical savings account at the bank is now paying 21% interest.

A good question. Ukraine has damaged the Kerch Bridge a few times and it's rail crossing is out of use. A Ukrainian has explained that the bridge is most heavily defended by the Russians using their most sophisticated S500 air defenses.

The explanation is a bit garbled, but basically Kyiv is happy that the russkies are tying up precious resources out of fear of an attack on the bridge.

If the S500 is as good as is said, it might be a waste to try attacking with Ukraines best weapons. Western Military assesses that it would take a lot more than a few Storm Shadows to destroy the bridge. Destroying the bridge would be a big morale win, but would not do much to remove military capability from Russia which has now switched many of its .
air attack bases to mainland Russia.

Holy crap!! Ruble went from 105.5 yesterday to 111 today. We may be witnessing the largest currency crash in most of our lifetimes. If this keeps up we might see hyperinflation soon. I am still holding a $50 billion dollar bill from Zimbabwe and I will definitely buy a $50 billion Ruble bill if it becomes available.

Price should complete the cup formation to the cup rim.


The rim is about 135 Rubles.

Current price is 109.342 Rubles.

So can run another 25 Rubles.

I think the main thing is that no one wants it. They used to sell oil in Rubles but now China is refusing and will only buy in in Yuan.
