| SOOPOO Member since: Feb 19, 2014 Threads: 25 Posts: 5746 | Israel slammed 380 targets in Lebanon last night punishing Hezbollah right before a Trump brokered truce took effect. It’s interesting that whenever a specific TIME is mentioned for a truce to begin the combatants ramp up their attacks leading up to that moment. I doubt this truce will last long as Israel is NOT having its troops withdraw from southern Lebanon. It seems like the government of Lebanon is all for this truce, but Hezbollah, who is the actual armed force that lobs bombs into Israel, might not accept a truce! The Middle East is a MESS. |

I have to agree, unfortunately. If I was an Iranian leader, I’d stop at nothing to even the playing field with Israel. No way I’d tolerate them having nukes and us not. Frankly, I’m not happy Israel has nukes. If they get overrun by their Jihadist neighbors I don’t want Iran/Yemen/Lebanon turned into radioactive parking lots. But I am happy that somehow the international community thinks it’s ok for us to prevent Iran from fully arming itself. |
