What? All I’ve read is that Israel is preparing for the implementation of the Trump peace plan! With Netanyahu on board. You read some guy’s blog as an ‘initial report’? Who ‘laughed’ on Israel’s behalf? I’ve actually never seen a country laugh, have you? If someone said, America laughed, how would you interpret that? As Trump laughing? As Congress laughing? As 90% of the populace laughing?

Anyway, as Geno says, may you have the days you voted for. We got them! 20 living breathing tortured innocents are now free. And the population of Gaza can rebuild, and live in peace, (until they decide to attack Israel again).

Heck, even HILARY RODHAM CLINTON is praising Trump. Small minded Obama is praising the release without mentioning who was the driving force. I didn’t think he’d be that petty.

Now let’s hope the Gazans choose leadership that focuses on their lives, and not on their deep seated antisemitic hate.

I'm glad all the other Presidents have restrained themselves as being as petty and inappropriate as Trump has been on several instances.

This is a fine post. The idea that Trump is upset because it does not end with "Thank You President Trump," and calling Obama out is beyond silly. Nobody needs more thanks and adoration for doing their job than Trump, and you are buying right into it...

Twice, once in the 1st presidency and once this time, Trump has had a televised roundtable where all his senior appointees each voluntarily tell him how great he is.

Yes, it’s all straight from the heart, and honest, because…yeah… ugh.

Anyway, someone like that, I just don’t have any problem with people deciding they don’t need to go out of their way to recognize him. He can obviously compel it through being in the position of power, and who knows if it means anything at all. Why ask Obama or anyone else to fake how he really feels which is not too highly I believe of Trump. To not say any bad or inappropriate thing is good enough.

It's honestly pathetic. The best display was when VP Vance was pretending to be engraved at Zelensky, "Did you thank President Trump even once."

He was clearly pressured directly or indirectly (like Trump saying around him "he never thanks me") to say this, the whole thing was so forced.

And, all the cons here are eating it up, and getting in line to thank the entitled man for doing his job. Conservatives cannot say anything without a throat clearing of how great Trump is...

Even with the Nobel Prize you see it, it's like other world leaders know he won't participate without a prize. "The President is such a great friend in these negotiations, he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize, 4 in fact..."
