The Democrats who were hardest on Kennedy today are all big receivers of millions of dollars from Big Pharma and the healthcare industry in campaign contributions. Gee, nice to see they're so unbiased. Big Pharma especially hates Kennedy's guts because he's been after them for years, decades. They'll do anything to see that he's not put in the position he's been nominated for.

Hello, is it time for Libertarians?

Democrats are saying four years isn't very long, we'll be back in power in four short years. With who? You got absolutely nobody who's a good candidate for president. And 4 years can be a very long time. Most people don't realize that our total involvement in World War II was only three and a half years long but for people who were alive then it felt like it was 10 years. Point being you can get a hell of a lot done in 4 years.

Dick Morris said after a loss like 2016 the loser is out of the running for a decade. We had a stolen election in 2020 but otherwise it is playing out. If we do not see a rising Democrat star by August recess it is hard to see them getting a credible challenger. The GOP has issues in that Trump cleared the bench in 2016 (thankfully!) but they have Vance and a couple others. But the Democrats have nothing to run on other than they love abortion. 2028 they are best to run a jobber like GOP did with McCain.
