| Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 148 Posts: 25978 | Something bizarre is happening. When I first heard it I was doubtful but now everybody's talking about it. Democrats are jumping from the ship by the hundreds of thousands all over the country because of Charlie Kirk. Because of how the Lefty media handled it and just because it happened at all. Survey after survey after survey is showing tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of Democrats registering as Republicans. They all say the same thing, this is too much, they didn't sign up for this. It's way too over the top when you start killing your political rivals and then brag about it. Google it. It's amazing. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

"Hundreds of thousands" have changed affilitation? Bwa ha ha ha Bullshit, bullshit, and more bullshit. Kirk was gunned down Thursday: today is Sunday. So....you seriously claim hundreds of thousands of democrats jumped ship since Thursday and visited the county offices to change their voter registration? Again...bullshit... "survay says...EB is a blowhard..." |

They already did that, I think it was when Kavanaugh was confirmed. The doors got slammed on them. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

So what if EB is a blowhard. The takeaway point is valid. From a purely political standpoint, this will help MAGA. They (read any of AZ’s posts) have been warning of leftist violence and now they have a martyr. Some will likely leave the Democrat party, as this may be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. |

tens of thousands? And, hundreds of thousands? Maybe millions even? That being said I am a registered Republican. Because that is how my parents had me register in High School when I turned 18. And, I have never bothered to change it. But, there is not a single Republican I will vote for in any general election, so registration is not everything. |

Real supporters, be mad. That's about all I see. I've looked at his sites and sayings 100 times more in the last week than the last 5 years. Those numbers recorded, I guarantee you mean nothing about my conversion. As there isn't one. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

| Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 148 Posts: 25978 | There are at least a couple hundred people scouring social media looking for these wonderful inclusive liberal fools who are dancing and rejoicing over Charlie Kirk's death. They are turning them into their employers and so far at least 100 people have been fired probably more. Hey, FAFO. How do you like it when cancel culture is turned back on you you sick pricks. Teachers, professors, public employees, guidance counselors, executives, you name it they're on social media crying their eyes out how they got fired. Sure you have freedom of speech but freedom of speech also has consequences. Your employers are saying you do not represent us, we don't want to employ you. Even the super Libby jerk Stephen King is bending over kissing his own ass apologizing for what he said after the assassination. So far at least one of his publishers has dropped him and Charlie Kirk's estate is threatening to sue. Couldn't happen to a nicer bigger jackass. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

The left has taken what would have been a bad situation for them and made it awful bad. A man was gunned down and so many on the left effectively said, "GOOD!" Now, good people do not like that, and they do not like being associated with it. I read that Turning Point has 35,000+ applications to start chapters. If even 90% of that never comes to pass you are still talking 3,000 chapters. Watching a rally of thousands in the UK for his memorial. You can believe leftists hated seeing him grow form a "Change My Mind" table to thousands seeing him on campuses. As to politics, it is doubtful many people actually ran and changed their registration, but they may have changed their vote. But even a few % can mean big changes. We will also not be seeing college students throwing pies like they did to Ann Coulter or shouting conservative speakers down at every turn. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Stephen King simply made a statement about Charlie Kirk wanting to stone gay people. Quoting people after they die does not warrant an apology. He only got in trouble, because he quoted what was Kirk quoting religious passages. The right loves frivolous lawsuits, so it wouldn't surprise me, but there is no way it would go anywhere as he issued a retraction within hours... As for other people, the right wing is turning this into a witch hunt for anyone who is not mourning Kirk's death. It is very North Korea-esque... You don't need to be sad somebody died, to say public gun violence is wrong. For example this paraphrased quoted statement (not mine,) "Gun violence and political violence is terrible for society, and I don't want this to occur, but I do not miss Kirk, and he had bad viewpoints." Should not be a controversial statement, but this statement is getting people into trouble, I mean shoot, I have said harsher things about family members who die (granted not publicly and I don't have social media....) |
