The LDS shooting was not even 48!hours ago and as of this morning I have heard little about the shooter or motive. So no idea where you get “right wing trying to cover it up.”

The shooter is a 40 year old straight white male, marine vet, conservative, Christian, Trump Supporter. He thought Mormons were the anti-Christ personified. I think his motives are pretty clear (Christian Supremacy.)

His dislike for Mormons sounds similar to your statements on religion in general.

As to Mormons I have met just a few, all nice people. One was a supervisor, he mentioned his LDS membership now and then, I was not about to convert but was interesting to learn.

The dumb thing about religious belief is any view can be held whether it's non-sensical or not, much like your typical thinking. Oh, and just because a religion is violent doesn't mean it's not the true religion. That makes the whole concept even worse.

I disparage ideas, all religions are riddles with disgusting ideas. I can say, "Christianity is a backwards religion that brings society backwards," and it does not mean that Christians are personally evil.

Also, being an atheist again all religions is more logical than being a religious person disparaging competing religions.

No, I see it on here all the time. When I point it out the lefties say they "know good muslims." The biggest leftie that would do that an myself just ignore each other now.

But that has nothing to do with his dislike of religion and yours being so similar.
