You do not like a fictional character in a fictional show so you fantasize about the actor..

Nooooo, not the actor. The fictional
character. I'm sure the actor is a
fine person. You do realize they
play pretend people on TV shows,
right? I said the 'main character',
I never said the actor. Reading
comprehension is a wonderful
thing.

Lynde was the Prince of Sarcasm.

He was great on Hollywood Squares with his
sarcastic one-liners. He was even sarcastic on
Bewitched, it's his trademark.

There is a still in the closet Gay guy on the HBO show Succession. He's nice looking but has never had sex with a woman. He tries and tries and always fails. He always has a beautiful beard with him and she's the only one who knows that he's a sexual failure with women and she constantly makes fun of him for it. Which he likes. Almost every word out of this guy's mouth is hurtful sarcasm hurled at everybody. The writers do this because they know Gay men are extremely sarcastic and they want to paint this guy as Gay as possible without ever actually using the word Gay.

I’m getting the feeling that you want me to argue that Gays aren’t sarcastic or something.

Like I said I don't know anything about the show or the characters. But, the way it was worded was unclear.

Huh? It was perfectly clear:

"I actually loathe the MAIN CHARACTER on this show so much I'm fantasizing about her meeting Bill Cosby"

Where did I say I loathe the actor?
You read it the way you wanted
to read it and pounced. Stop it.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Come on man.... It was totally unclear, mixing character names with real life names and claiming you hope that that the real life person will drug and rape them (the character), you don't see how this can be misread?

There are many endless shows and characters that I dislike, my gut reaction is never "I hope Bill Cosby drugs and rapes them"..... At best it is obtuse....

Om my dear god, it's SATIRE! It's making
a point by being outrageous. By saying
something so over the top ludicrous it
says I really can't stand the character. I
shouldn't have to be explaining
this to you. When a comedian says
he got so mad at his wife he wanted
to kill her, do you gasp in horror?
Or do you get that he's using hyperbole;
like I was.

hy·per·bo·le
/hīˈpərbəlē/
exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally.

But you’re not good at satire and certainly not (intentionally) funny.

He was right to be confused.

Bill Cosby rape “jokes”? How lame.

Hear them all the time. In the
last season on Seinfeld's
Coffee show, they make several
references to Cosby, pretty damn
funny. Do try and keep up with
current trends..
