At what age is someone "old"? I am thinking generically not about any specific person. In my mind the number would be 57. If you are at least 57 years old you are "old". Over 50 is getting "old". At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

No, I am a young spry 55 years old. In my case I feel very old but I don't consider most 55 years old to be "old" At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I think 70 is probably what I would consider the start of old age. I passed that several years ago and a lot of my friends are between 60 and 80. 70 seems to be a pretty common age when the body starts saying 'you can't do that anymore' to the brain.
