Okay, so now I have to buy a new bottle of vitamins/minerals/enzymes/adjectives/whatever.
I've narrowed down the Amazon list but it still is not manageable and I still can't read the fine print on the ingredients label.

The worst thing is this Coenzyme Q stuff. It has great "press" but what about Mito-Q?

Mitoquinolone densylate? I'm desolate.

CRS Can't Remember Stuff

Its not just that I can't remember what I had for breakfast, I can't remember if I even had breakfast. Finally I figured out that if there was an empty cardboard box in the garbage can then I must have already had breakfast today.

Okay folks.
For once some good news on the medical front.

At long last, I am back on an oxygen concentrator at night. Had to do a battle royal at the sleep doc's office and a nasty letter etc. but finally got that six minute test but in less than two minutes into the test they gave me the oxygen Rx, though it took them three tries to get the scrip written correctly. (Language problems and general incompetence). One night of supplemental oxygen and its a MAJOR difference for me. Of course the Home Health Care company was a major battle too even though I've been in their computer for about five and half years. Pompous, arrogant office managers who sling the word "policy" around in an attempt to not comply with the terms of a doctor's prescription are simply a pain to deal with.

Any way, I do know there is some medical talent on the WOV and DT boards so if anyone has ideas about post prandial somnolence please let me know. Its often thought that even a light meal can induce the body to shunt blood away from the brain and send it to the stomach but that is a myth and has always been a myth. Something biochemical induces post prandial somnolence and I hate having to deal with falling asleep if I just look at a picture of a bowl of sugar, much less actually consume any food.

The oxygen is a really invigorating tonic. I wake up and really want to get up and be active. The trouble is that if I eat anything it becomes time to go to sleep again and I don't like that. I swear even coffee seems to put me to sleep. Too much xanthine oxidase? Too little xanthine oxidase? I don't know which. Wanted to head to the local Seminole casino but made the mistake of eating breakfast and then slept for five hours after just having had cereal and milk. Strange. And annoying!!

I found a solution to the problem of my not being able to read the labels or remember one product while reading the next one's ingredients, so I just ordered a one month's supply of three different products and will sort things out later. Tried to blow up the image files on Amazon that list the ingredients and then print them out but they always printed in tiny type and since the photo is of a curved surface it won't print properly anyway if you want to actually read the ingredients.

I hate it when I put in "Iron Free" on an Amazon search and they list vitamin formulations containing iron.

Had to turn off my oxygen at the dinner table because one guest was smoking but I'm not sure if all those stories about exploding oxygen are true or not. At least I would be going out with a bang.

Wow a fourth bottle of vitamins showed up in the Amazon delivery box. I guess now I can at least have lots of vim and vigor as I involuntarily sleep all day. Just read the ingredients list on the fourth bottle and I look forward to it, but do feel I have to make a bigger dent in bottle one's supply before moving onward.

Going to try a different supermarket. My regular one keeps putting cakes and pies at the check out lines and I have no "won't power" at all these days even though I know if I eat the sugar I'll be out like a light!

I'm open to suggestions.

Perhaps:
Lifelong sleep apnea which screws up each and every other organ.
Repeated hypoxia to pancreatic Beta cells?
Ticker going tock all the time with inadequate ejection fraction and almost constant atrial fibrillation?
Lower limb edema which prevents fluids from being properly pumped back into cells and taken upwards rather than being pooled by gravity?
Dandruff?
Underlying occult infection of some sort. (I recall having consumed a Mango Lassi in some sort of Turkish Fast Food place that had 'turned', the excessive bacterial load caused such lassitude and depression that I actually went to a clinic and was given a broad spectrum antibiotic).
Gout w/ tophaceious ankles.
My lifelong OPD. (Obnoxious Personality Disorder).
A curse placed upon me at some time?
Several incidents of carbon monoxide intoxication.
Chronic intoxication by undetected carbon monoxide.
Pheochromocytoma?
Diabetes?

Do you have access to a fingertip pulse oximeter? I am told to much O2 can have side effects?

Have you spent to much time in Jamaica, mon?

Is your scrip for 24hr. O2 supplementation, or just at night?

I've only slept 5 hrs per night for decades, all of a sudden I'm sleeping 7-9 hrs and I don't know why. Hard to do with Peripheral Neuropathy.

I've noticed as I've gotten older I
get tired easier and want to
sleep more. After dinner I want
to take a nap and usually do.
Getting old sucks.
