I have been listening for about 24 of those years. An amazing run Rush has had. When he started and said the format he wanted to have, people said it would never work. From no guests to syndication, they would not believe in it. He near single handed saved AM radio for a generation and gave birth to a new genre.

Liberals tried to copy him many times, to the point of starting a whole network, and they failed time after time. They still do not get the formula.

I first heard Rush in my barbershop
in 1990. I didn't know I was a
Republican till then. When Rush started
explaining liberalism, I went 'yuk',
that sure ain't me.

He could make reading the phone
book seem interesting. He's a huge
personality attached to a genius IQ,
who comes from a long line of right
wing lawyers. His famous lawyer
grandfather lived long enough (104)
to become aware of Rush's huge
success, and I think that was as important
to Rush as anything else that's happened
in his life.

Lots of people think they are "liberal" until they have what it is explained to them. Open borders. Higher taxes. More regulation of everything. Taking away personal choice for "the common good." If you throw in the awful results, people start to flip. But Rush is right in you have to keep explaining it as liberalism is like some kind of vampire that keeps rising.

Liberal ideas are presented as little things, things it is hard to disagree with. The uninformed lap them up. Then the informed tell the uninformed what it really means. Like in CA now, property crime is skyrocketing because they raised the level of theft needed to make people do time. Liberals thought it was great, why lock people up for a small amount of value. Now cars get broken into left and right (see YT "People Behaving Badly" for examples.) And that is just one thing.

It's why I left Calif in 83. Crime
was just stupid awful, and taken
for granted. That was 35 years
ago, I can't imagine how bad it
is today. People steal for a living
there and never get caught. A
guy broke into my van, found
nothing to steal, and went to
sleep. When I found him, he
started screaming at me that
I had a van and he had nothing,
it was my fault that he broke in.

I left the state a few months later.

What is there to "prove?" Every time an ID law is proposed we hear the same refrain from liberals about how minorities cannot manage to get an ID. That is your proof, all that is needed. Somehow they never say the same about Whites, though?

You're the guy who screams about the "keep off the lawn" sign isn't working, because you saw 3 people walking on it yesterday. I'm the guy looking for damage other than some broken blades of grass and asking why we need an armed guard to protect the lawn now.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I don't have a lawn. What on earth are you talking about?

I just figure if I need an ID to do 100 simple things from buying a beer to flying on a plane, why do we not require one to vote?

Only reason I can think of to be against it is to allow voter fraud.

Rush has it free on his site, first time I ever saw him do that.

I think Bo actually pulled one over on Rush, even better than when he put Chris Bahr on without telling him who it was. Bo had to have prepped Bahr because he says, "well, when I was kicking in the Super Bowl......." like it was nothing. Rush cut him off and asked "who the hell is this?!" He knew he was got!

Even better this time!

Remember when Bo was a commentator
on Fox for awhile? James Golden, he left
Rush and came back because the show
was suffering without him and Rush
offered a pile of money.

I remember he left but never cared why. Who quits that job? Like the Zamboni driver for the Red Wings quitting.

Once, Rush went ballistic and said he was fed up because his guy in the primaries was not doing well. IRC this was in 1996. Bo came in and went on the air. Of course it was a planned work, and a quick commercial and Rush was back. Some guy at the station said Rush could file a union grievance (not a work!) because Bo was not part of whatever union you had to be to be on the air.
