Yeah, that's why atheists get hounded by believers wherever we go, because they have a 'so what' attitude. How many admitted atheists are in congress, how many got elected on an atheist ticket. None. They lie about their atheism because they would be drummed out of office if they told the truth. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Why in the world would anyone want to elect someone who thought that there was no God? He or she would be admitting he or she is illogical and holds to things that have no evidence or proof behind them. Hardly. I have yet to see anybody reject Einstein or Hawking's work because they are 'illogical' atheists. Politicians don't claim they're atheists because they would alienate 98% of the superstitious voters, religion believers all. If you take a risk, you may lose. You use the 'atheists are illogical' argument all the time, yet no scientist is ever ridiculed because he is not a member of some church. Atheism is the pinnacle of reason and logic. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
