Obviously your new york crime problem would be reduced if your criminals stopped using the wrong drugs which make them hyperactive violent maniacs.

Not drug related. Most of them can't even afford a Big Mac. Definitely not hyperactive. Prone to spontaneous acts of extreme violence. Similar to what we see in predatory animals. In fact, the Prophet Joe Biden(pbuh) warned us about them in 1993. More likely genetic prediposition.

Don't think they cannot afford things. There is money in the ghetto, that is why they sell drugs there in such amounts. Predisposition probably though.

It's pretty clear to me that the key reason blacks in ghettos disproportionately commit crimes is because of several factors.

Lack of an intact family: most (?) have no father staying with them and the mother til grown up, and absent this they turn to gangs for direction and instruction (they say nature abhors a vacuum);

Lack of family support encouraging them to study and do well; mama is either on welfare or working and medicates with alcohol and drugs to better accept her lousy lot in life; and

Lack of role models: other than kingpins, how many blacks in the ghetto ever become successful, at least when compared to whites living elsewhere?

Young black men are dealt the worst possible hand at birth: tough to overcome.
