We are basically at two years since the pandemic began and the death count has been dropping for the last 5 weeks.

Twice now the death count has dropped until around the 4th of July and then began inching up again. Let's pray the third time is somehow different.

It is meaningless China is just finding out what every other country in world already knows. Lockdowns will only work for so long. Australia 30,000 cases yesterday, New Zealand 20,000 cases yesterday (omicron certainly seems milder though as New Zealand claims only 2 new deaths yesterday. They both stayed tightly locked for a year and a half. China is just coming off of the Olympics so that might even be the plan to start reporting honestly on the number of cases. Now they can blame all the foreigners for the outbreak.

"How Hong Kong went from 'zero-Covid' to the world's highest death rate"

"HONG KONG — Hong Kong’s worst outbreak of the pandemic didn’t come until 2022, but the scenes are right out of 2020.

Hospitals and morgues are overflowing, with bodies left unattended in hallways and in rooms with living patients. Health care workers report burnout and low morale as they work 80 hours a week. And nursing homes are being ravaged, with low vaccination rates among older people driving Hong Kong’s Covid-19 deaths per capita to the highest in the world, according to Our World in Data."

Can anyone explain why China’s vaccination rate is so horrible amongst their elderly?

None of that is true according to 'Worldometers' stats, my go to site since Covid started. They have been accurate for 2 years and show Hong Kong as 118th in deaths per capita in the world.

South China Morning Post
"Meanwhile, the Hospital Authority reported a record 249 coronavirus-related fatalities in the past 24 hours, involving patients aged between 39 and 105. Of those, 165 had no vaccination records, 41 had received one dose, 39 had two and four had three."

The don't want them to live. They produce little or nothing and are burden to the economy. Expendable.

They're being hit with a sub-variant of Omicron.

Better hold on to those masks.

Really really good news for the democrats. Order another 200 million mail-in ballots for November.

Good news for Biden. To slow the spread, China put 37 million people under lockdown, which caused the price of oil to fall from $109 to $95, due to the drop in demand. Fill your tanks while you can.

Now that we are fixing the changing the clocks problem.
We should just do away with in person voting and just go 100% mail voting or internet voting.
All my contact with the govt is via internet or mail anyway
Apply for unemployment, apply for social security, get Obamacare, pay taxes, change my legal address, get my titles for my car and RV.
Voting should be no different
