The largest private gun collection on the planet is nearby. Gonna check it out tomorrow. Yup mr anti gun will be checking out guns.
As to that gem museum at Oral Robert's. Gonna be a weird experience for mr atheist to walking that campus. Wonder if my Grateful Dead cap will be an issue on campus

Just leave your tshirt at home and you will be fine.

Do you have a quote T-shirt? "All hail his noodly appendage" would be nice.

Apparently we think alike.

Driving in Oklahoma
Wow can you drive fast. Just saw my 1st Maximum 80, minimum 60 speed limit
They have tolls.
I haven't paid a toll in decades
FL, I had sunpass. Also works in GA and NC but not OK
At one toll plaza, asked if I could use a card. nope. cash only.
At the automated exit, I needed 8 quarters. Absurd in a change shortage.
They did have a change machine at the exit. Too weird. I actually considered getting a lot for laundry. Nobody behind me.
I was prepared because I actually have several rolls due to laundry so I just paid.

Nice to see OK, OK with MJ
A lot of huge green cross signs. Always a welcome sight to me :-)

Every time that I am in Oklahoma I eat at Waffle House. Probably does not have the same appeal to someone from Florida.

My favorite Florida Waffle House is the one on I-75 by the Ft Myers airport.

Waffle house is desperation
Those were considered and used back in the day.
I'm in a strange city and its 1am after a Grateful Dead concert and I am starving.
I think I can do better these days.

That gun museum I'm going to. 11k weapons. Their motto "This place is loaded" lol

What brought you down by Ft Myers? That's my home of jr High and High School years.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I am in that area quite often as my parents retired in Cape Coral. I will be back there around Thanksgiving. I miss the Grouper sandwich at the Blue Whale.

For me Waffle House is a destination. The closest one to my house is 349 miles. It is a long drive but I have done it many times when I wanted a pecan waffle and some covered and chunked hash browns.

Route 66 is one of those iconic symbols
from our past that just doesn't live
up to the hype. At all. yawn.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Loving route 66
In Claremore OK
The world's largest private gun collection. What was truly fascinating was the collection of nooses actually used and the accompanying newspaper article regarding the hanging.
Just visited Will Rogers museum.
What an incredible life. A real cowboy herding cattle in Argentina. Greatest trick roper on the planet that turned out to be one of the funniest
