I think any *objective* person would agree that the high point of Biden’s term thus far has been the bipartisan infrastructure package.

You know - that thing Donny repeatedly failed to get done (“infrastructure week” lasted roughly three years).

As of December 2021, 36 members of Congress—six members of the U.S. Senate and 30 members of the U.S. House—have announced they will not seek re-election.

Twenty-one members—six senators and 15 representatives—have announced their retirement.

Five retiring Senate members are Republicans and one is a Democrat, and of the retiring House members, 11 are Democrats and four are Republicans.

Fifteen U.S. House members are running for other offices.

Four Republicans and four Democrats are seeking seats in the U.S. Senate,
one Republican and two Democrats are running for governor,
one Republican is running for secretary of state,
one Democrat is running for mayor, and
one Democrat and one Republican are running for attorney general.

No U.S. Senate members are running for other offices.

We'll see how they do at implementing the plan. If they do well, I will likely agree with your statement. Jut passing things is not enough but it is a good start. There are lots of things that get screwed up based on how the bills are written, often because of the hasty way they are drafted. Hopefully, this one is done better than that.
