In his latest blame the energy companies for daring to operate as businesses while he openly opposes their future, he’s asked energy companies to not buy stock while the war is going on. Imagine some scumbag that doesn’t give a hoot about the American people telling companies that couldn’t care less about the American people to care about the American people…

Is it wrong to hope he succeeds in burning the energy companies to the ground?

Ehhh I’d prefer to have some freedom of choice as a consumer that’s not available if he does until EV’s that handle off road like a Subaru or Jeep are readily available. Our hopes are irrelevant so doesn’t matter.

If he would mostly keep his nose out of the mish mash it doesn’t belong in there there’s be a lot less hypocrisy for his opponents to call out. I mean, last time I checked I put my cargo shorts on one leg at a time just like Joe. Dude makes Brett Favre seem like a stand up guy.

Not quite sure how to from phone. It’s on Bloomberg/msm today. Headline “Biden scolds oil producers on buybacks as Ukraine war rages.”

More like very little ado.

Somewhat of a point but they just passed a (good) law this summer that companies have to pay a 1% excise fee starting in 2023 on buybacks. Umm…..pretty unreasonable to ask them to wait for planned purchases until you can tax them for it, again they’re operating as businesses not gonna intentionally pay more.

He's doing anything he can to keep the price of gasoline artificially down until the mid-terms. Once again wrongly blaming the oil companies for the high price of oil. Urging them not to use their record profits to buy back stocks or for dividends, when gasoline prices are controlled at the retail level and not by the oil companies.

Meanwhile, he's depleting the national strategic oil reserves by another 15 million barrels, after already depleted it by 33%. Today, there is only a three week supply available for a national emergency.

Too bad Pelosi didn't allow Trump to add to the reserves when he want to at $29 per barrel.

Oh boy
Now we have gone from "asked" to "urging"
The horror. (sarcasm)

Well, “Biden is keeping gas prices too low” is a refreshing change from “Biden is the reason gas prices are too high!” a couple months ago…

Facts are irrelevant. Whatever suits your agenda.

Who said Biden is keeping gas prices too low? Why is that in quotes?

He's trying to keep them from getting higher before the mid-terms by selling off more of the national reserves, and begging the Saudi's and Venezuelan regime for oil.

His energy policies are in fact the main reason oil prices are so high.

For the past twenty months he's been trying to dampen the effects of his blunder by selling off the strategic oil reserves to China and Europe. To the point where there is only a 25 day supply of diesel fuel left in the US.
