Some teenager prattling on about her YouTube channel. Why did you post this. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It's more informative than all of your posts in this thread. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Citizens and businesses are leaving Russia, that's her entire message. We've only known that for weeks. You found this informative? Do you get news about what's going on from anywhere? You just like it because she pushes her hair back with her hands a lot. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

She knows what's going on there, you don't. And that's not her entire message. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

I certainly didn't hear anything new so apparently I do know what's going on there. The war's going to make Russia suck for years? No kidding, what a revelation. The Russians have censored social media and YouTube is probably next? I'm surprised it hasn't already happened. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

While it's true the Ukrainians are putting up a much better fight with fewer resources, if the Russians revert to a defensive position and the Ukrainians offensive the Ukrainians lose the advantage of a siege defense. Instead of 7-10 Russians for every Ukrainian, you then need 7-10 Ukrainians for 1 Russian. If Russians maintain that defense position on territory near their border or the coastline, they then have resupply solved, and their ships can still bombard from sea. I believe even without missiles large ship artillery can fire 20 miles or so inland. And if that slows the Ukrainians for long enough, I fear the calls to reach a settlement may pressure the Ukrainians to take loss of land. While this is a great weapon that is almost futuristic (very small and portable, soldiers can run around with them in their rucksack and quickly send them up as needed). It also seems dangerous if they end up in the wrong hands. The difference between these and Fighter Planes, any idiot can probably figure out a single use drone, which makes them more dangerous if they leak to militia groups, but very few people can effectively use a fighter plane (even if some group somehow got a hold of one). I am not saying that giving them these is wrong, but it can backfire so easily compared to military vehicles that the U.S. is reluctant to give (which no civilian is going to be able to figure out how to operate, and even if they are, they are not going to have the ability to maintain and run the vehicle if they don't have a massive organization). In the short term, they will be good for destroying Russian tanks. But, hopefully people in charge thought about long term possibilities and risks. |
