The most honest ruling would be to call it meritless or frivolous. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Either way, it doesn't look good for the other side. ------------------------- Why Generation Z is returning to God April 26, 2023 . . . About one-third of 18- to 25-year-olds say they believe in the existence of God or a higher power. This is up from about one-quarter in 2021, noted The Wall Street Journal’s Clare Ansberry, writing on polling data from the Springtide Research Institute. Ansberry reported that in the age of COVID-fueled isolation and canceled dreams, young adults, theologians and church leaders “attribute the increase in part to the need for people to believe in something beyond themselves after three years of loss.” . . . https://nypost.com/2023/04/26/why-generation-z-is-returning-to-religion/ ------------------------- |

DoubleGold Member since: Jan 26, 2023 Threads: 30 Posts: 2506 | There was a strange occurrence of people congregating the other month at Asbury University in Wilmore Kentucky. It lasted around the clock and spread to about 20 college campuses. Huge crowds from all over the world came. ---------------------------- The viral revival at Asbury reveals Gen Z’s unique approach to faith and spirituality FEBRUARY 23, 2023 . . . The Asbury revival is a uniquely Gen Z occurrence, beginning after a group of college students continued to worship after weekly chapel. Since then, it has drawn thousands of people from all over the country and the world to the Asbury campus, including students from at least twenty-one other colleges. . . . https://www.denisonforum.org/current-events/revival-in-asbury-gen-z-christianity/ ----------------------------- |

South Carolina trying to ban abortion from conception. Frankly if one believes in the conception argument, then the only state you actually save any lives in would be whichever ones allow no abortion and no pill abortion and possibly no contraceptive pill. So, you've hardly done anything to save lives so far if that's your belief except make a lot more people upset with trying to impose absolute bans based on your belief. rxwine Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 189 Posts: 18764 | Idaho makes it a crime now to take a minor across state lines without approval of the parent for an abortion, including if sisters, or aunts do it. OTOH, anyone in the family can sue the provider for a minimum of 20k for the minor having an abortion. So, wonder if the minor can get out of the car and just walk across on their own? Then resume driving them there. It says the transportation violation only extends to the border. Of course, the provider could still face a lawsuit from anyone in the family. I wouldn’t personally transport a minor across state lines for an abortion without the parents knowing about it. I might provide them assistance in other ways though below that action which might enable them to get there. Unsigned envelope with money from an anonymous donor. But even then, I’d have to be pretty motivated by some serious mo - f*** ery on the parents part. Maybe like if Dad was the father of his daughter pregnancy. Send her off, call the cops on him later. But it's the rightwing that keeps announcing the borders are open. It's almost like they're helping the cartels and other ne'er do wells get more traffic here. It's almost like they're sabotaging any effort to slow influx of immigrants. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Fox News was on at the gym the other day and they were doing a story about Biden sending 1,500 troops to the border. And their talking head was criticizing Biden for not doing anything about the border. ??????? “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |
