As expected, Senator Bernie Putz Sanders, schmuck fundraiser for the anti-Israel Democratic Socialist Party, criticizes Israel's offensive in Gaza, calls it 'serious violation of international law'.

Yeah, the progressives on FM radio are pulling out their hair blaming the Israelis and coddling the Palestinians.

Heck, I heard even some supposedly smart kids in Harvard have jumped on that train, along with a BLM leader.

Not even that, I think I have said on here that I am even fine with Trump's walls. I just do not think using xenophobia and chanting (false) slogans is productive. Also, making a border wall the primary part of your campaign is silly for a number of reasons. I do not see how this is a contradiction.

I do not mind Trump's walls, in fact I accept that they are good thing. Because infrastructure projects of any sort are beneficial (you can even argue totally pointless infrastructure projects have a history of being positive for local economies) and border security is a good thing. I do mind the way he advertised his walls and made it a talking point. You can like an action and not like the way people talk about it.

For example, -an easy example in the context of this discussion- I may think bombing Gaza is a good thing, but I would be alarmed if people I knew were cheering to piles of dead Palestinians (even though we agreed on the basic action.) I do not see this as a controversial viewpoint, there are many actions (especially when discussing security and foreign conflict) that are necessary (even ethical,) but if people got certain kinds of joy or please from would make you feel alarmed.

I feel this is a very normal inclination and do not see how it is so controversial.

How is protecting a border xenophobic? If border security is a problem then yes, it will be a central part of a campaign. The problem is you are so afraid of being un-PC that you are against commonsense things lest you not be.
The President is a fink.

I don’t think anyone will be looking to you for advice.
well, the rooting-for-Hamas bunch will hold me in contempt

You know, the ones you'll be hanging out with at your Harvard reunion ... here they are

I didn’t go to Harvard, but I take it as a compliment that you think I did.

I am not rooting for Hamas. I am just not a frickin dumbass so I can comprehend that Palestine ≠ Hamas.

then what was the below supposed to mean?

Now I'm wondering if you are backtracking because of shame, because associating with the worst at Harvard is something to be ashamed of.... and you would find it irresistible

I don’t think Harvard students are being brainwashed, because my brain is functional.

A quote from noted idiot Larry Summers proves nothing.

I’m not backtracking.

I think people can hold stupid views without being brainwashed by a university. For instance: you believe many stupid things about trans people. You didn’t go to Harvard!

And I certainly don’t think Harvard is encouraging anyone to support Hamas (lol).

Is that difficult to comprehend?

I suspect Iran is in fact pulling the strings on this one, and I believe they hope to have Israel fight a three front war: Gaza, Golan Heights and West Bank.

That would be difficult for Israel but with US aid Israel would clean their clock.

Hamas holding up to 150 hostages. Israel holding entire Gaza Strip hostage in return. Dropping leaflets warning residents to move out of neighborhoods they are going to level with their bombs. Rescue efforts hampered by lack of fuel, which has been cut off by Israel. No food. No electricity either. Israel offering to restore the electricity if they give up the hostages. Thousands of troops will be sent in once Gaza is sufficiently softened. Palestinians getting what they voted for.
