It's making me think of the funniest joke in the world.

AS soon as you read it, it kills you from laughing, so no one knows what it is. It started by killing its author.

I think Dr. Cooper and Cmdr. Data would agree: this only proves the joke is deadly.

Do you suppose Golden Boy made a bet with Bush the younger, claiming he could lower the international standing of the US more than Bush did?

Lol. My life.

So I been banging out my teeth. $500 here, $1,200 there, I'm bangin' it out. I'm about, I dunno, in $2,200 out-of-pocket and it's all paid. Really grabbed it by the horns and am wrestling into submission.

Then vacay. Had to go. No time, no money, but had to go. So I confirmed. Close to $3k needed, I banged it out. I technically had to take out a loan and did; I currently have a loan with the cash to pay it off in hand. It's all good.

Truck puked a tranny after that. Made some calls, got a plan, I'll be back in action without further debt. Just overhand smashing problems left and right. Which is good, because that's all my life is. I simply got the crying out of me and started to work.

Got hurt at work. No big deal. Got forced into comp case. What a f#$%ing faff. But I'm banging it out. No days off, no games missed, just walking it off. ER, no help. Primary, no help. Xrays, no help. Onto the MRI, which was today.

Had an appt on 2/20 to view the images and discuss. Got a call 40min after I walked out of the hospital. 2/20 canceled. Doc NEEDS to see me TOMORROW.

Needs.

Tomorrow.

Awwww, f#$%.

Hmmm, could be good news, as in you will have a major worker's comp claim on the Post Office... or not so good news as a preliminary review of the MRI appears to have set off an alert. Dr. insisting you come back quick is not usually a good thing.

Hang in there Face.

Whoa, sorry all ("All" to include PMs). I was just sort of venting partial ideas. I didn't mean to make it so vague and ominous lol.

It's my shoulder. The same one I tore in baseball, the one I separated in hockey when I was restoring my truck. I tweaked it slinging mail, and I mean just that. A simple motion that because of the angle and weight on it made it catch and pop. Since it happened at work, and since I got hollered at last time, I reported it immediately. Not because it was oh so serious, but simply following orders. That has turned into a several thousand dollar, multiple visit comp case hell that I've been dealing with since Xmas. It's totally stupid. As far as impact to my life, my shoulder "hurts sometimes". Like every single other piece of my entire body. No big deal.

I reckon this is simply a view of, oh, 28 years of redlining, turnt to 11 abuse. And since I've always just walked it off, there's no record whatsoever, making it look like I went from functional 36yr old to "Holy s#$%, his joint has exploded".

The only "ominous" part is surgery, which I by all means already knew I needed, but haven't gotten in 17yrs because I don't wanna be cut open. I suppose the comp aspect puts an element of pressure on the decision, and I feel like I don't wanna make any anymore. I've handled enough, just let me go fishing =p

Just got back from Los Algodones, Mexico Face doing a dental trip. I thought I needed a crown but after several scans the dentist thought everything was fine and that I didn't need any work. Cost for scans, cleaning and check-up $40. My wife got root canal and crown on a molar and root canal crown on a canine. Total cost $1200. Take a free holiday Face, the dental savings will more than pay for it.

I've read about that city and am considering some major dental work. do you recommend the clinic you went to? if so, do you mind sharing the name?

The dentist I went to has a small clinic and is actually an implant specialist. We were pleased with her work and professionalism and I would recommend her even though neither of us had any implants. I talked to several of the other patients that had major work done while waiting in reception for my wife and all were happy. One just received his top bridge mounted on 4 implants while I was there and was happy and it looked good. He was getting crowns across the whole bottom. His price was $14K compared to his quote of $45K in Denver. His teeth were originally screwed up by a US dentist. If you research on-line you can get a good idea of what it is like in the town and get many reviews. Any of the larger clinics will have some bad reviews but that is probably mostly a reflection on the number of patients they see.

The clinic we went to:

I can pronounce that in 3 tries. Probably.
