I'll go out on a limb and say 0%. According to Google, the radius of Neptune is only 15,299 miles. A solid shell with a diameter of 15,299 miles, would be swallowed pretty easily by the Sun which is 56 times wider (a diameter of 864,576 miles).

I wasn't at my best. I meant a Neptune orbit's radius.

See, you get more sunlight on Mercury than you do on Earth. Mercury is closer to the Sun.

Hehe... In that case, I revise my answer to 100%. The solid shell will completely contain the Sun, therefore containing 100% of it's energy.

Of course, things will totally unwind when Pluto crashes through the bubble...

Next you'll claim a pound of lead does not weight more than a pound of feathers.

Still, a Neptune orbit sphere would require many, many more solar panels to collect all the energy than, say an Earth orbit sphere.

If you can build a shell that big, you can move Pluto out of the way.

Got an old printer on the fritz so decided to get rid of it
New ones are just so cheap
I had a few things I needed printing so looked into getting a new printer
Was about to buy one but I do so little printing
A really cheap 50 dollar printer. Looked at ink, almost as much as the printer. WTF
couldn't pull the trigger, just to expensive for so little printing I do
Loaded the documents on a USB drive, went to the UPS store and had them print them
Just a buck and change, bargain :-)

agree. You can send them electronically too.

I hate home printers but admit they come in handy too.

I'm the anti-terapined. I, too, needed one for some annual-only affair and snatched one up the minute I saw they were in my "reasonable" range. Came home and banged out the task quick as you want, and found further convenience in it after having it. Used it maybe 7 times within the first few days.

Then I was all set. Nothing to do with it until next year. And next year?

Primer ink dried right up.

It sits atop my bookshelf, brand new and unused, to this day. That s@#$ is expensive.

I bought a $39 inkjet printer this weekend. Exactly the same model as the printer it is replacing that just ran out of ink. The starter ink cartridge that the printer comes with lasts me about two years and then I replace the printer.

Pro-tip

You have to operate the printer in order to keep the ink in good shape. Not sure how often.

This is what I've heard anyway.

in other words by wasting ink, it will actually last longer, is what I'm saying.

That's if you don't use it much.

It was one of those days....

I found myself downstairs taking a smoke break. Phone in hand, I kept trying to come up with a reason not to throw it as hard as I could against the very solid concrete wall. It took me a while to come up with one.
