This will be the first year that I am buying zero Christmas presents. This year is just money for he kids and gift cards for anyone else that deserves something. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

The inn would be roughly hewn with simple, sturdy, inexpensive fare, the whole thing basic and without pretension. Stews, shanks of meat, soups. Attached to the inn would be a simple, unpretentious hostel where travelers could sleep on the cheap. No TV, no art, but with a bath and shower (I'd leave open the possibility of community bathroom / shower but we Americans may be too spoiled / pampered to accept it). I'm surprised nobody seems to have tried it. |

I usually bought "real" presents for the wife and Grandkids. If I was still in Vegas I would have bought presents for the Grandkids because I love the joy the little ones get from opening presents. This year the wife got a half million dollar present in her new house, she deserves more but that is all she is getting. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
