I saw Oppenheimer, it was great, one of the better movies that I have seen (definitely the best movie that I have seen this year.) I normally do not like movies that are not linear, but this was well done. I don't think that I have a negative thing to say about it (even the length was not bad, the story was engaging enough that it did not feel as long as it was.)

I thought it was a decent movie. I did not like the fact that the U.S. Flag had fifty stars on it.

Barbie made a billion globally so far.

Barbie has taken in $1B which is exceptional but it has not 'made' $1B.

Theatres take about half for showing and deduct production costs. Tell you what lend me $1B and I will pay you back what you say Barbie 'made' in a year (maybe $350M).

I was under the impression that the theaters kept very little of the ticket price. I was thinking maybe $2 per ticket.

The studio might get a higher percentage for the first week or two but after that it falls off to 50/50 or even lower. Barbie only had a production cost of $145M but they spent an additional $150M million on promotion.

I wouldn't hire you as an accountant.

Which would you prefer $1,066,179,747 from "Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest" released in 2010 or $1,031,481,000 from "Barbie" from 3 weeks ago?

Barbie is already at #45 on the all time list. (not adjusted for inflation)

I wouldn't hire myself as an accountant either though.

What I do know, is when the movie starring Kenarman comes out, you're going to be out of the $100 production costs.
