All you've posted is nonsense, I have no
idea what you're talking about. Almost
nobody is going to heaven, and a mom
and dad hugging their five year old is
supposed to mean something. This
is info I'm supposed to do something with?
Hugging your five year old is not a hard thing to do. Going to heaven is just as easy if that's what you want.

Heaven exists in your mind, it doesn't exist
as a place. At one time living was a short
and miserable ordeal. You were lucky to
see 25, 40 was an old man. To make
themselves feel better about their awful
existence, humans invented wonderful
lives after they die. That had to be true,
the misery and struggle of everyday
life couldn't be all there is. It still exists
as a useful fairy tale, especially is the
poorer Muslim countries.

But you do understand it rightly, you're one
of the few who will get to heaven, then.

I don't think that at all is what pew is saying. He said it is as easy to go to Heaven as a child hugging their father. Why do you think that means few? Another way to put it is that all you have to do is accept the gift from your father. Does that make it easier to understand for you?

understand,

Come on, you can't be serious?!? Atheism claims there is no God so we are left wondering how anything came to be. There is more evidence for Santa than there is for the notion that something can come from nothing, much less everything can come form nothing. Of course, as you've said before atheism is nothing - so how can we understand nothing? Face the fact that atheism is a failed philosophy that has no logic, evidence, or reason that would recommend anyone to hold it.

Again, at times you show glimpses of understanding like above. Thank you.

I've never heard a satisfactory explanation of this from a believer. The best I get is a lame excuse about us really having free will. But in a god-created deterministic universe controlled by an all-powerful and all-knowing entity, free will is, and MUST be, an illusion.

I have never heard a satisfactory explanation as to why free will MUST be an illusion if God knows everything.

Could you tell me what the philosophy
of atheism is, I've never heard it before.
Is not believing in Santa, or Unicorns, a
philosophy, then? Of course not, and
neither is not believing in gods. It's a lack
of a philosophy.

He also said almost nobody will get into
heaven. But really, who cares. These
conversations about places that don't
exist and who gets into them are just silly.

That religion was invented as an opiate
for the masses? Of course it was, pipe
dreams and denial are much easier to
live with than reality.

First off I am not talking religion. Secondly, I never said almost nobody will "get into" heaven. What I pointed out was the fact that most people refuse heaven, big difference and very ironic to me. Matt.7-13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

True religion. James 1-27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

When somebody starts quoting the gobbly
gook of the the NT, I'm done with the
conversation. Why think when you can
just quote what somebody else thinks.
