The thing I find most ironic about all of this, is there is so much about Madison Cawthorn that should be instantly discrediting, and yet the GOP is pushing his sexual orientation and behavior at parties as some ultimate take down move.

Like literally the thing people should care least about (his personal life). But, I guess it shows that pandering to social conservatives will always win points with some, which says more about the GOP than anything else.

I can’t figure out if that blonde girl behind him is making a gagging motion, like some do behind someone’s back when they’re making fun of someone. Simulating that cawthorne makes her retch.

Or maybe that’s just his wife’s normal reaction.

I watched the Cawthorn video and honestly it made me pity him a little.

To me it just shows an immature “bro” acting like an idiot and goofing off with a friend.

Clearly he upset some people and is being punished for it.

I had never heard of Madison Cawthorn until I just read this thread.

Saw some more excerpts today. I think what I find off about her testimony, is I'd expect her to be in a bitter stage or at least kind of dead inside emotionally about the whole relationship at this point, not still pining for lost love. And she doesn't seem as clueless and naive as she is making herself out to be in the early relationship.

And it still sounds more like an written script to me than an actual description.

She's an actress she can bring up any emotion she wants on demand. She's playing the part, all this crap happened to her years ago and she's acting like it happened day before yesterday. The jury's not going to buy any of it. She's obviously the abuser in this relationship.
