On a lighter note:

Trump expressed support for hanging Pence during Capitol riot, Jan. 6 panel told

Quote:
The White House chief of staff at the time, Mark Meadows, was in the dining room off the Oval Office with Trump at one point during last year’s Capitol attack, the committee has been told. Meadows then left the dining room and informed other people nearby that Trump had signaled a positive view of the prospect of hanging the vice president, the panel heard

Proving ignorance on your part regarding how to handle things.

Don’t interrupt a press conference. Get out, draw an audience, make your point and work to change politics.

Theatrics, not substance.

He’s a putz.

It is too bad someone didn't punch him in the jaw like that loser who interrupted Trump that time.
The President is a fink.

Sure, it is fine. He can do it. It just shows that he does not have the temperament to be Governor.

Yes, it could have been worse. Brave cops, that some asswipes hate just for being cops, shot the stupid ass who committed the crime.

Again, Beto could call his own press conference and do things the right way: he could prove himself a real serious candidate.

I don’t like everything any politician does; there are things that need to change.

It was a border guard team that showed up to support the local police. One of their crew shot the shooter. The shooting would still be goin on in Seattle because the mayor wouldn't allow the police to respond with weapons.

I guess we could then say that our President helped save lives in the shooting by allowing illegals to invade our country by swarming our borders with few repercussions, thereby placing border guard operational units (extra cops!) all over the southern areas of our country to try and stop at least some of the mayhem at the border and on personal property in our country.

Thanks, Joe!

When we said it was guns, they said "No, it's about mental health."

When we said, "Then let's get free or affordable mental health care to everyone who needs it?"

They said, "No, that's too expensive."

Did the cops barricade the shooter into the classroom in which he committed the murders???

The Police Timeline of the Texas School Shooting Has a Lot of Holes

Quote:
DPS Director Steve McGraw said twice that the cops were the ones who barricaded the shooter into a classroom.

That contradicts previous statements by other DPS spox, who said the gunman barricaded himself and immediately began shooting kids.

Potentially another example of cops being worthless.

That is pretty harsh speculation without knowing the circumstances on the ground.

When you are in a life-or-death situation you have to make a lot of quick risk mitigation decision. Even if that is true (I have no idea, and it does not sound like any reputable source does either), how many kids did it save by preventing him to escape to other areas of the building and continue shooting? Were there people in the barricaded sector with him to begin with? Were they still alive at the time of barricade? These are all questions that we do not know, that the people on the ground have to decide relatively instantly with limited information. Its very easy to armchair quarterback such an incident after the fact, but none of us were there, its one thing to see helicopter videos and computer sim recreations, and a totally different thing to be on the ground making decisions with limited information under direct danger, and trying to decide what will mitigate the most harm.
