Darn, more cancel culture.

See, I thought the whole purpose of anti-cancel culture was not to judge whether anyone is raving lunatic who can't provide evidence to be platformed for everyone to see.

Guess I was wrong.

You care WAY more about this issue than the average American. It’s all you can talk about lately.

Most non-brainwashed-by-Fox people don’t give a damn.

I rarely watch Fox. Except when MLB or NFL is on. I think m favorite posting topic recently is about HW running for Senator and my feelings about him likely mirror yours. If you include WoV, I’ve been posting by far more about sports betting than anything else.

We shall see. I think the ‘average American’ cares more about illegal aliens and the negative effects they have than on the constraints on abortion. We shall find out in a few weeks.

I think the average fox viewer only cares about illegal aliens when the President is a Dem. All of the sudden the situation is ok if a Republican is President.

Trump had a lot to do with any surge. He backed up the average flow. it's what happens when you let something over expand then it finally releases.

closely. Arizona Proposition 209 would put a cap on the interest rates that can be charged for medical debt: 3 percent. It would also limit debt collectors’ ability to seize a person’s house, belongings, automobile, or wages if they owe money for medical services by exempting more of a household’s assets from forfeiture or garnishment.

The policy itself shares key provisions with model legislation produced by the National Consumer Law Center and addresses some of the crueler debt collection practices, which policy experts say should help to relieve the burden of medical debt, particularly for people who have been taken to court by their debtors and face wage garnishment or the possibility of their house or car being possessed.

“For those people in the most desperate circumstances, this rule change is going to make the process a little bit less cruel for them,” said Joe Gerald, a health services researcher at the University of Arizona.

What’s equally interesting is the manner in which these proposals may become law. Through the work of Healthcare Rising Arizona, which drafted the ballot initiative and collected signatures to put it on the ballot, voters will get the chance to decide directly whether to put these new consumer protections in place. In a state currently governed by a Republican legislature that is largely sympathetic to the business community, the prospects for legislation like this have been dim, Gerald said.

If you want to put in legislation like that it shouldn't be a fixed rate. It should be tied to inflation or the bank rate. 3% was fair a year ago now it is too low. I am not against creating a path for people to get out from under debt they are unable to pay, but that path has to be flexible and fair to both sides.

What’s more fair than tying minimum wage to inflation then? I remember you being against it.

What's wrong with it is the Democrat Party would never accept that as they would lose way to make political points every few years. Hillary refused the idea when she was in the Senate.

We are seeing there is little need for the minimum wage as nobody is paid it anymore.

I think about 247,000 people would disagree with you as they make minimum wage.
