It is not anti-business at all, it it pro-freedom.

It is pro-business in that it states you do not have to do business with someone at the end of a gun.

If gays acted like mature adults it would not be needed. Are you saying gays are anti-business?

Bottom line is NC is losing jobs due to this law
Businesses are not protesting the law because they are pro gay, they are protesting the law because they support equal rights and are against discrimination.
They are against the law because its about doing what is best for business.

Gays do act like adults
Sure there extreme flaming gays, so what.
There are extremists everywhere
Your problem is you look at extremists and paint an entire group as "If gays acted like mature adults"
Your average gay acts like a mature adult.
I work with gays. Quite a few managers in our business unit are gays. Very mature.
Every gay I have met are just normal mature adults
I do see flaming gays on videos in the Key West parades but that's the exception
In my life, the numerous gays I have met and known in life are mature
Your statement "If gays acted like mature adults it would not be needed." says a lot. Its unbelievable you paint an entire group that is simply different due to sexual orientation as not mature.
Its illogical

No, they are protesting it because they do not want gays to protest and disrupt their own businesses.

Not really. When a business tells you they do not carry the product you want an adult goes elsewhere. Gays sue.

Your statement "If gays acted like mature adults it would not be needed." says a lot. Its unbelievable you paint an entire group that is simply different due to sexual orientation as not mature.

Well, look at their behavior. They do not like the position of a business executive and they plan to go to his restaurants and make out all for the purpose of disgusting the customer base. Why not just eat elsewhere? They do not like the position of a CEO so they demand he be fired. Why not just use Chrome?

I will say it again. The gay movement is the most intolerant movement of our time. They will seek to destroy anyone or anything that does not totally support their position and lifestyle choices. Bravo to the states standing up for individual liberty against these storm troopers.

Yes, I am painting an entire group. That happens when you associate yourself with this kind of folks. When a group of gays stand up for liberty and say "hey, let the law stand, we will do business elsewhere" then I will applaud that. It will not happen.

I'd rather be associated with the tyranny of enforcing non-discrimination, vs, all the bad regimes, ideologies which have advocated selective discrimination of one or more minority groups.

Besides, it easily becomes more than just who you decide to bake a cake for.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

So you do not believe in freedom of association?

The point is people should be allowed to do business with who they want to do business with. Why is that so hard to understand? Actually I know why so many people do not get it. It is because the idea of freedom is scary to so many people.

I still remember that DJ I met at a wedding I worked. Somehow the topic of gay weddings came up. He said he had a decent referral business from DJ friends who did not want the business. He was happy for the business. The gays got someone who wanted their business. And the other DJs did not have to take business they did not want. Everyone won. That is freedom at work.

It seems gays cannot handle the equality they have and would rather be some kind of protected class.

I don't get much wedding work, but I want the right to turn a gay wedding down.

Very interesting, as I had no idea that bathroom use had ever been covered under law.

So... do trans folks carry a card or something? I mean, how else can we be sure? Perhaps we can adorn them with a bright, red letter that must be affixed to their clothing? Or hey! Why not a simple tat?

Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

Paypal just announced that they are getting out of North Carolina due to the anti-LGBT bill

Paypal is a bunch of hypocrites:

Quote:
Congressman Robert Pittenger made a great point yesterday: “PayPal does business in 25 countries where homosexual behavior is illegal, including 5 countries where the penalty is death, yet they object to the North Carolina legislature overturning a misguided ordinance about letting men in to the women’s bathroom? Perhaps PayPal would like to try and clarify this seemingly very hypocritical position.”

I would love to say what they have to say for themselves.

Didn't you say you book travel to muslim countries like this yourself?

??????????
Yes I book travel to Muslim countries
A lot of my clients do lots of business in Indonesia and orher Muslim countries
Whats the problem. I have a job. I do it

This is about Paypal employees living where discrimination is illegal, not legal
Paypal cares about its employees
Paypal will continue to do business in NC
They just want to build their HQ in a state that does not allow discrimination
I am pro business.
Paypay has the right to make decisions in the best interest of the company

Boy how the times have changed
Republicans against big business decisions regarding the NC law/Dems for big business decisions regarding the NC law

Very interesting, as I had no idea that bathroom use had ever been covered under law.

Most problems involve bathrooms in high pedestrian tourist areas.... some guy selling Tshirts on the boardwalk wants to be able to charge those who run up his expenses.

Trannies seem to be able to find each other... and not just at that smoking permitted bar in Vegas where you can find any permutation and combination imaginable.

There seems to be a sort of neighborhood near that ice cream cone parlor that made the news a few years ago in Vegas.
