Corporate tax rates haven't changed since 1994:

First $50K - 15% (same as 1987)
50k - 75K - 25% (same as 1987)
75K - 100K - 34% (same as 1987)
100 - 335K - 39% (ame as 1987)
335K - 10M - 34% (same as 1987)
10M - 15M - 35%
15M - 18.333M - 38%
> 18.333M - 35%

But it's Obama's fault for sure. Numbers? Meaningless.

Just to be totally honest with you, the total I have paid in taxes is down.
I pay less during the Obama years then the last Bush year.
Are you listening, in this era of so called insane tax rates, I am paying less. LESS.
This is reality, I am paying less. No state income tax Fl, the biggie is property tax and I own and I pay less this year then last Bush year.
Hitting Vegas in 3 weeks, plan on blowing all the money I saved paying less taxes :-)

Just give me 2 numbers, the insane amount of taxes BK paid last year and the reasonable amount they paid during Bush last year.
Just give me those 2 numbers and you may convince me. No spin, 2 numbers, total amount in taxes paid.

Taxes paid by BK, 2013, according to their annual report:

2013: $88.5 million on 322.2 million of income -- $57.6m federal, 2.5m state, 28.3 foreign. Effective tax rate 27.5%.
2008: $103 million on 293 million of income - $75m federal, 9m state, 19m foreign. Effective tax rate 35.2%

FYI, if you had bothered to read the Breitbart article, you'd already know that Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is trying to make corporate inversions almost impossible, and he's even threatening to bypass Congress and make inversions illegal. So yes, Obama wants these companies to keep on paying these insane US taxes!!

OK, you need to read what I write and not what terapined, boymimbo & s2nickelmiracle claim that I write...lol. I never said any of that stuff. What I did say is that Obama supports insane taxes (which is true). His Treasury Secretary even threatened to bypass Congress and make corporate inversions illegal (which I stated in the post you just replied to). That type of business un-friendly rhetoric is harmful, as we've seen.

Breitbart.com is a liberal site. Said the most fundamental problem with the tax system is it's arbitrary. I could hear an echo as soon as I got off the site, My opinion on these higher taxes and companies using tax inversion, it's a free ride at everyone's expense, and I don't see how this could be a conservative take ideologically. Is burger king, a taker or a maker? Taker. Must have been what they were talking about when they said they didn't know how to make coffee buying Timmies.

Not sure about Canada, but $250K is hardly ultra-rich in the USA.
