Why would international travel bring back the disease if people are vaccinated? For sure if you go to a hot-spot you will need to get shots before you go there.

I am not buying the circle-the-wagons-to-defend-illegal-aliens propaganda. Logic dictates a horde swarming the border is a risk whereas a person entering the USA from vacation will be noticed at the border.

You would think the economically minded would consider the impact of sick days on the work force if nothing else in their anti-vax zeal. Including parents missing work to take care of kids.

And the more this anti-vax trend continues, the bigger the impact.

For the 87th time, people who do not vax do not hurt anyone but themselves. Our body, our choice!

My sister is still in 24/7 adult care and unable to function on several levels. Next week will be six months since she got a Yellow fever vaccine. Certainly, most people do not get the same adverse reaction. But still,,it is looking like she will have side effects for the foreseeable future. Starting with at least the 2nd speech therapist this week, and feeding through a feeding tube.

Our neonatal and pediatric ICUs are capable of keeping alive many more kids with various diseases and genetic abnormalties. And parents who want children often never give up except on the worst cases.

This leads to all kinds of kids alive today who wouldn't be here in the past. They bring with them a host of lifelong added complications.

You cannot keep pumping things into your body and expect no negative results. If you are not allowed to get sick once in awhile you get weak. When I was a kid parents mixed you with others to get chicken pox. You got over it. And it was the best way to get immunity. Today this amazes people. That which does not kill us makes us stronger.
