They kill the other couple just for hell of it, and later the guy is in the hot tub with the two decapitated heads floating in it.

I wouldn't watch that show just because decapitated heads should sink.

I don’t know, perhaps he was pushing them to the surface for his wife making them look like they were floating, or he was kicking them around the tub. She wasn’t in the hot tub.

Each season, NFL players choose their own helmet from a list of helmets ranked by safety performance. The league's continued work to drive innovation in helmet safety has led to more and safer helmet options from which players can choose. Better-performing helmets have contributed to a sustained 25% reduction in concussions in each of the last four seasons. Last season, concussions were at the lowest number ever.

Building A Better Game: How customized helmets are benefiting NFL players

Every year on behalf of the NFL and NFLPA, biomechanical engineers perform extensive testing of helmet models, recreating the realities of on-field play, to collect data and identify which helmet models best reduce the severity of impact. The rate of improvement of helmet models is nine times faster since the start of the annual testing program in 2015.

This year, five of the six new models tested ranked in the 'top-performing' group; there are now more than 20 top-performing helmet options from which players can choose. And for the third season in a row, 99% of players are wearing top-performing helmets. Nearly 200 players moved into even better performing helmets in the 2022 season than what they were wearing last season.

"Forensic Files" is a no-nonsense show, so if something is said that is not believable it would just be some prosecutor or policeman yacking who didn't get something quite right

Had to use a brother's shotgun due to some bursitis in my left shoulder preventing me from using my trusty old pump comfortably. After missing some shots, checked it out thoroughly and found it shoots fairly high even at 20 yards. Now I'm used to a shotgun shooting high at shorter distances but this seems very extreme and certainly I don't have the problem with the pump

hard to find facts on this, but I suspect newer guns are supposed to shoot higher by design

It's pretty common for a shotgun to shoot high, in fact most are designed to shoot high.

Where to aim on a shotgun?

It's designed to be pointed, with the eye sighting along the top of the barrel or rib. The sight is usually a bead on the front of the gun. Your eye must be in line with the barrel, so it's important to position your head properly on the stock.

[just typical for what you find, nothing about 'designed to shoot high' ... or certainly not "higher than ever"]

I was always a terrible shot be it with pistol, rifle, or shotgun. Although I once got 24 out of 25 shooting trap.

Are the helmets worn by high school players improving at a similar rate? I don’t think most youth programs can afford to replace helmets very often.

These NFL helmets cost from 400-1000 dollars. Cheap for them. Probably be great if they sponsored a donation program, either of funds or discounts on buys, if they don't already.

Some sort of stupid link bot made the dollar amount a link. Or does anyone else see that?
