That's why I check 2 sites:-)
The open market to confirm bookie odds
https://www.predictit.org/Market/1234/Who-will-win-the-2016-US-presidential-election

I don't look at these sites because they have Clinton ahead
I look at these sites because money has no politics

All it means that there are more people like you who are giddy and think Hillary will win and the bookies have to give the odds to balance the bets. November will provide us both with the answer.

There was plenty of smart money on Brexit not happening... and we saw what happened there as well. I take the odds with a pinch of salt... the wisdom of the crowds implies there is wisdom there, and that a big assumption the more people can place bets, there's more likely to be a populist approach.

What are the binary option markets floating at? They may be a better indicator, though there's always hedging available if the market there goes far off the bookies odds.

I can't believe anyone actually can think that Trump won the debate. I watched the entire mess. I don't agree with most of what Hillary said, but at least it was intelligible. When Trump mentioned the 400 pounder..... he just added another group of Americans to have a reason not to vote for him.....

This is exactly right although I did literally LOL at the 400-pounder comment so kudos to Trump for a comedy moment that was actually intended.

In fairness though I think Trump did start out quite well. He did seem focused and stayed on point for the first 20 min or so. I wouldn't say he dominated or even that he clearly won that period but he did more than hold his own IMO. After that it was all downhill though. You could see him becoming unhinged and close to a major lash out. Some of his responses were plain embarrassing. Just a mash of unintelligible thoughts all clumped together making virtually zero sense.

Clinton didn't wallop him that's for sure. She was solid enough but really Trump was just bad. At least she managed to somewhat answer the questions though. Trump didn't even answer the questions half the time. Just went off onto some other semi-relevant rant that related to his talking points. If I was planning on voting for him I'd be concerned that he can't seem to articulate any actual policies. People go on about talking points and sound bites well he is the very definition.

It's how people felt watching it, not
who won. Who had the passion, not
the cleverest words. That's why Trump
was perceived in the snap polls as
winning every primary debate. On paper,
he won none of them, not even close.
But people like him, he speaks his mind
with vigor, and it effects their opinion
of him. Little stogy pudgy granny Hillary,
nobody likes her, she's a witch. Big
macho alpha Trump, they can't help but
want him for a friend. How do you think he's
gotten this far.

I say this again. In 1960, Nixon won the debate
hands down if you heard it on the radio. He
nailed it. On TV, he lost overwhelmingly. Kennedy
was handsome, charming, composed, smiling,
macho. He looked like a leader. It didn't matter
what he said, people go with what they see.
Nixon was sweating and grim and bug eyed.
He said everything right, but Kennedy won.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

LOL
Clinton won. Typing a ton doesn't change that
Especially from somebody that posted that he wont watch a second of the over hyped debate.
How can you evaluate a debate you did not even watch. lol

I do think that Trump is very funny. He's entertaining. That's why he's gotten this far.

It seemed to me that the 400 lb comment was meant to be funny, but it came off as too serious and no one laughed.

And of course, now there is a twitter account.

All the 'official' network polls are out and
they show Clinton won in all of them. Go
back as I did and you'll see that Trump
was the loser in all the primary debates,
according to the 'official' polls. In some
he lost yuugely. Yet he won every online
snap poll by a large amount. And, of
course the nomination.

Today the MSM is screaming from the
rooftops just like in the primaries, the
online polls are rubbish. Sure they are,
that's why Cruz is the nominee. Oh, wait..

Poor EvenBob. Only in stage 1 of the five stages of grief.

Take a look at FiveThirtyEight. Everything is moving in Hillary's direction. Trump lost the debate. Bad.

Do you think it's a conspiracy that all the polls were so similar?
