That is a very perceptive post. In todays world so for so many people if someone disagrees with you they are wrong and not worth the trouble to listen to. Respect for someone else's views has disappeared and puts us all in the same frame of mind as a terrorist where the end justifies the means. I see my point went well over your head. The DOW is not a good economic indicator. If the press or Trump or the Dems want to use it, go right ahead. It still doesn't make it actually mean much to those who follow the markets, and want to know where things are really headed (in this case, the Dow and reality match). Your points never go over anybody's head. The DOW can be an indicator if you want it to be, which the press did in 09 and are ignoring today. I watched CNN and MS and it was never mentioned. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Nope. For many the DOW is an indicator, that you disagree doesn't change it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
