Is this the socialism Odious is referring too
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/senate-republicans-pen-letter-asking-directv-to-explain-decision-ditching-newsmax/ar-AA16ZYdb?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=5a1f4b8ca1b74ba5856b40aae3e5b581

This is scary. A Senator wants companies to explain business decisions simply due to politics
This is right along the lines of Desantis punishing companies due to politics
If Newsmax cant cut it, they should be cut out.
No socialism to keep businesses in business. Its wrong and Cruz should know better
Does Odious defend socialist Cruz or go with Direct TV and profits?

The owner of DirecTV is A,T,&T (T).

Here is who controls T:

It's generally the same folks that control any other publicly traded media firms.

Newsmax is not publicly traded.

They're controlled by Christopher Ruddy, Qatar government, and it used to be by the William Casey family (ex-CIA).

I'm not sure of the current Casey's family involvement but I think it was related to Vince Foster's death.

That's real life experience so no source needed.

Both of my parents died in my arms because of it.

What is “it” that you are referring to in this post?

Certainly not death panels…

"Quality of Life" is what it's currently referred to as.

The opposing view (my view) is the "Sanctity of Life".

You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

rxwine, the subject varies depending upon specific sub-beliefs.

Mine would be Christianity.

For example, not Jainism.

Rxwine, here's your wonderful Jainism!

Just kidding! but no kidding, that is Jainism's official symbol, according to the Wikipedia page where I got it. The swastika predates the Nazis, who gave a bad name to an innocent thing. Often meant 'good luck' I think

The reality of rapidly rising healthcare costs includes more people dying faster than there would be with lower cost resources available.

So how does a system lower cost to preserve life when the economic monetary system is designed to decrease buying power over time (inflation aka currency debasement aka printing money out of thin air)?

The solution to lowering healthcare costs is to remove the central bank.

So in my view, the opponent is the central bank (not politicians, hospital bioethics panels, doctors, etc) when we have talks with hospital personnel about ending life fast or slowly.

Another way to write this, is the central bank opposes the "Sanctity of Life".

So who are the shareholders of the central bank?

I think that's a reverse swastika.

An ancient symbol meaning good fortune.
