Heckuva job, Big Tits! FL passes NY in cumulative COVID deaths.

Wouldn't that be expected as the average age of a Floridian is older than the average age of a New Yorker?

If you took a poll of Floridians, would they be in favor or against the way DeSantis has approached the government's response to COVID? Even if it resulted in more deaths (most likely), I still think Floridians would be in favor of the way DeSantis handled things.

The point of your graph is that the Florida and New York are the same despite one being totally locked down and the other being mostly open. The takeaway is that the lockdowns did somewhere between very little and Sweet F... All.

I lived in Florida at the start of the pandemic and a lot was closed. Many people observed social distancing and masks. All the major theme parks closed. Disney lost billions. Beaches were closed. It was a big deal in FL with all the closures.

Not all beaches were closed, schools went back to in person learning much earlier than most states, kids in schools were not required to wear masks, the list of exempted business' that could remain open was much larger than most states and the mandate on closure ended sooner. Florida was much more open than almost any state and not even close compared to New York. According to the Biden Covid 'facts' it should have been hammered way worse than states with more restrictive closures, it wasn't.

???

Do you not know how to read graphs?

Deaths have now exceeded NY (a larger, more densely populated state), so clearly it WAS hammered harder.

Not to mention that NY was hammered early on, before vaccines.

Do you not know how to read graphs? It is per capita. The density of the population has not been shown to make any difference when you look at countries why would it matter in a state? You are letting you own prejudiced assumptions effect what you believe is valid analysis.

The fact that a lot of People had the "Stay away from me or I'll punch you away from me!" Attitude also helped in keeping Covid Cases down. There was a News report that said People were beating up People for being too close to them and even the News Report pointed out that beating up People for being too close to them was counterintuitive(The People who were the Assaulters could have just walked away).

Technically since New Yorkers (and China) are pretty much responsible for all COVID spread in US, all US Covid deaths are New York deaths when you frame it that way. Any who’s, they call Florida gods waiting room for a reason.

Covid should never have left China in the first place. Too bad Covid coincided with Chinese New Year where lots of People were traveling to and from China to celebrate it. If only Covid had broken out in say May when Chinese New Year wouldn't have been occuring, it may have never traveled out of China.

The first case of Covid in the US was in the state of Washington followed by Arizona and California.
