I believe Trump believes that he is above the law

and many of his followers also believe that

it's not that they think he's really innocent of the crimes he's been charged with

it's that they don't really care if he's innocent or not

even if he's guilty he's still their man

one man - viewed by many to be ABOVE THE LAW__________________truly incredible

it's a once in a lifetime thing

They know he’s a criminal.

They just feel he’s their best (only?) chance at regaining power so they ignore his crimes.

If folks really believed the fake criminal news, then Trump wouldn't be ahead in the recent polls.

That would be true in a free market. It is not a free market once the government enacts union friendly laws.

What laws would those be? I'm not opposed to collective bargaining, as a rule; I'm opposed to most unions, individually. Depends on the Union and whether or not it's just a grift.

If you don't believe the N.Y. fraud case is legally valid, then you're either mistaken or deliberately lying. Of course, it's not a criminal case.

That's most people on the right though. You're not an idiot, but most people on the right are either idiots, or they are dishonest about stuff like that. Of course Trump is a swindler, criminal, liar, fraudster, possibly rapist and probably thinks of Ivanka whilst banging whoever he's banging at that moment, but even all of that doesn't mean that they're not unfairly going after him for certain things. Unfairly in the sense of they wouldn't go after most other people for the same.

So, just call it what it is---he's a p.o.s., but you prefer him to the alternative. It's fine. I don't deny climate change; I simply don't gaf about the environment.

He's a living martyr in the eyes of some. Honestly, it would make the most sense just to have someone from Secret Service take him out flagrantly. It's true that he would be an actual martyr then, but the Democrats wouldn't care and most Trumpanzees wouldn't do anything about it and don't like any of the alternatives anyway. There would probably be a few of them that lose their shizz and commit some random killings. Collateral damage. Totally worth it if it means the Feds kill Trump, imo.
