Not sure why I thought of this, but I couldn't remember one instance where I ever saw Rand Paul laughing.

I guess what I know about trends in porn over the years is not much, because this is all I could come up with.

Back in the day, almost no one was shaved. Even most of the women.
If porn wasn't already the lowest form of film art, it was made even worse by "looping". Taking the same scene and repeating it to make the movie longer.
Pretty sure there was likely a wide variety of stuff, but it wasn't so readily available.
There were established porn stars mostly. Now I'd say there are multitudes of hams. Though I'm sure some people have followings.

Today most are shaved, even bald.
Seems like there is a requirement, for women to make gaging noises.
Video quality is way better, if not the art form.

What area codes should you not answer?
With that in mind, the Federal Trade Commission says you should never call back numbers in these area codes:

268 area code – Antigua and Barbuda.
284 area code – British Virgin Islands.
473 area code – Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
664 area code – Montserrat.
649 area code – Turks and Caicos Islands.

Sometimes when I get an unknown call, I google, and there are some sites that even record what exactly the call was about. Usually either spam or scam.

lately I seem to get served chicken where there's some pink near the bone. I'm not sure why we all universally, it seems, find that so unappealing, but it's a "me too"

Can you eat pink bloody chicken?
The USDA says that as long as all parts of the chicken have reached a minimum internal temperature of 165°, it is safe to eat. ... The USDA further explains that even fully cooked poultry can sometimes show a pinkish tinge in the meat and juices.Mar 8, 2021

Is it OK to eat slightly pink chicken breast?
Answer: Yes, cooked chicken that's still pink can be safe to eat, says the U.S. Department of Agriculture — but only if the chicken's internal temperature has reached 165° F throughout. ... When all the parts have reached at least 165° F, you can safely eat the chicken, including any meat that's still pink.

The consistency of undercooked chicken also seems a bit rubbery to me. About twice I’ve tried to soldier through and eat it. I learned enough from the first two experiences, that I won’t be trying again.

I would say that it's because, if you are being served the chicken, you have no idea what internal temperature it hit. If the meat is all white, it must have been cooked right.

Hey Mission, have you done an article on this

“Ordering a full carafe of wine in a restaurant. Where I work, a full carafe can fill 4-5 glasses. Ordering 5 glasses of some of our types of wine is actually $1 to $2 cheaper than the full carafe. Check the prices and do the math before ordering! Same goes for pitchers of beer."

I haven't done an article on that, but I've noticed similar things that don't make sense to me. Mainly, I notice when a grocery store has a greater, "Regular price," per ounce, on the larger units as opposed to the smaller ones...or when a store has a greater cost, per unit, on items with multiple units rather than individual ones.

I don't know if it is still the case, but because McDonald's app cannot be combined with other coupons or offers, and Value Meals constitute, "An offer," using a coupon in the app would frequently cause your price to increase due to cancelling the applicable Value Meal.

On some occasions, usually in fast food or restaurants, purchasing a bunch of items individually will result in a lower price than purchasing a combo. That might be just a lack of attention.

Here's one:

https://www.menuwithprice.com/menu/mcdonalds/pennsylvania/pittsburgh/90274/

The worst, "Value," in McDonald's has to be the way that the McNuggets are priced. If you scroll down to individual items, then you will see that the menu price for ten Chicken McNuggets is $5.85, however, an order of four nuggets is $1.99. If we index this to 20 total McNuggets, then the four-piece x 5 is $9.95 and the
ten-piece x2 is $11.70.

Of course, you can just buy twenty straight up for $7.11. That's basically like getting a second order of ten for $1.26.

***I don't think I've ever seen these exact prices at area McDonald's', (I deliberately did not pick the one closest to me) but it's the same idea.

Of course, with the forty nuggets and two large fries, they're practically throwing in the fries. You can also get any size pop for a dollar.

In restaurants, the main thing I notice is in the cost of a meal v. sandwich only, or that sort of thing. Occasionally, the price difference for getting sandwich-only is more than what the side of fries would cost individually. If you really wanted to save fifteen cents and didn't mind looking like an (omitted) and, quite possibly, getting your food messed with---you could demand to order them individually.

Pizza places will sometimes have combo deals, often with coupons, where the combo deal comes out to more than the cost of the individual items. When it doesn't, it usually ends up being a partial, "Discount," on the two liter (for all practical purposes) that you could get cheaper elsewhere anyway. I try to drink only one or two pops a week these days, so that doesn't do me any good.

You silly East coasters and your "pop". I grew up in Ohio and we called it pop, but having been on the West coast for 30 years it just sounds silly when people say it.
