But it's usually only makes it edible. I think in the gulags, anything boiled in water is called soup. I think Solzhenitsyn talked about finding a human eyeball in his bowl. Back when the Internet had barely gone from the text stage to the web stage, I was part of a group trying to get an online magazine going featuring people writing personal journals or diaries. I wanted some sort of clickbait that would attract people and bring them to the site. So, back then it was pretty easy to do simple things that no one had any idea how it worked. I found a list of names in some sort of directory. Thousands of first and last names. So I copied it and changed all the text to white and put it on a white background making it invisible. BUT not invisible to search engines. I knew people liked to search on their name. Other than a contact for email and a blue lettering for the link to the magazine, i made a creepy gift that faded in and out, with the words "You will die alone." Pulled in quite a bit of traffic. Also got several worried emails, in the vein, "How did you get my name? Why is my name here?" or just "What????" and so forth. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

I live close to Edison's winter home. I would assume it goes out when the hurricanes come and knock out the power. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Great folks; went riding with a guy in a fast late 60's car; I'll always remember what he said. "For five dollars I can buy enough gas to ride around all night and buy a six pack." Compare that to today. My tank was getting low in my '82 Volvo. so I prepaid a fifty dollar bill toward filling it up: not enough. Egad...gas is up more than ten times what it used to be. |

But there was a women listed. I didn’t recognize her last name, but with women there’s always possibility of a married name. So I went to all her previous addresses listed, to see if there was any place on it I lived at one time. There were a few. Each one list the year lived there.
