Yeah kinda. Not like Alabama Southern.
It has many faiths, but the state religion is football
Texas has some demographic headwinds that affect the stats. When controlled for demographics Texas education ranks better. It has the highest percentage of rural school districts in the country. It has a very large Hispanic population who are not raised to speak English. But Texas hasn't done enough to address it's education problems.
Now you're just trolling. Want to talk about that putrid Cincinnati chili?
I have no idea what the "average Texan" is.
Texas' reputation suffers from it's own myth. People have no idea how diverse this state is, but go ahead and hate on Texas. We're used to it.

Here is a little nod to Texas culture from the Stones.

The entire city of Cincinnati sucks, its sports teams suck, putting chili on spaghetti is disgusting, spaghetti itself is kind of gross and Skyline chili is also pretty disgusting even taking the spaghetti out of the equation.

Cincinnati is physically located in Ohio, but really it's a part of Kentucky---one of the few non-Confederate states somehow worse than Ohio.

For the most part, the Buckeye State is a rural hellhole that has a few third-rate, 'Major,' cities and uses that as a claim to relevance. The laws in the state are stupid and the entire state Government is totally in the bag for the casinos---which is why they will probably never expand to having Limited VLT parlors. Columbus aside, Ohio is home to among the worst mid-sized and large cities in the entire country. Columbus is merely terrible and extremely boring, but not among the worst.

Depending on the area of Ohio in question, the inhabitants of the state are pretty GD stupid, and it probably doesn't even depend on the area that much. The High School diploma percentage is reasonable, but doesn't mean anything, because Ohio represents the bottom third of the country in percentage holding a Bachelor's Degree, or higher, and by a pretty safe margin.

Ohio is also a state that is home to a pretty strong population segment who can't get it into their heads that Ohio was a Union state. I'm not sure why that is, because I went from K-9 in Ohio and remember being taught that in history class. West Virginia is the same way, but the average West Virginia resident barely intellectually qualifies as a sentient being, so that's perhaps not a great thing to be compared to.

Texas education is better in the Democrat/Independent run bigger cities, is it? You don't say. That's what happens when you actually decide to fund and emphasize the importance of education...not to mention have a lower percentage of religious people.

Texas BBQ does suck, KC BBQ crushes it, hands down.

Stay used to it. At least one thing that I believe about Texas will be proven to be true, which by itself, will be enough to cause me never to want to go back. Also, former Confederate State. So many Southerners don't want to forget about the Confederacy, so why should we?

EDIT TO ADD: Cincinnati has a nice skyline at night.

Edit #2: I apologize for not watching your video, but I hate The Rolling Stones.

I wonder what the odds are they are going to find someone dead, but uncrushed, in an empty space in that condo collapse?
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Mission, you are so far out of line here that I would slap you and offer to duel with you.

Chili on spaghetti is not terrible!! But, cinnamon and sugar is a horrible combination for the sauce.

The best parts of Ohio are where the Amish live and I can get good baby swiss cheese and Trail bologna.

Texas BBQ is very good, it may not be one of my favorite BBQ styles but I would still eat that over almost all other foods.

BTW, go Buckeyes.

A duel it is!

1.) Chili is a ridiculous thing to put on spaghetti! Spaghetti (which I think is terrible anyway) should be eaten with some sort of meat sauce or cheese (alfredo) sauce, but not with chili. Chili should only be eaten by itself, or with bread, or something.

2.) What is, "Trail bologna?" I've never even heard of that.

3.) Texas doesn't even put the BBQ sauce on until after it's cooked!!!

I don't like the Buckeyes.

We just had a GOP President for four years. Why didn’t the “law and order” guy lift a finger to fix this?

I know lots of people who live in Chicago. Never hear any complaints about shootings from them...

You and I both know that no politician will 'fix' black on black crime in the inner cities. It is just that it has skyrocketed since January 20. WAY AHEAD of pre pandemic Trump rule. I don't credit Trump, or blame Biden. I DO blame the overall anti police pro BLM attitude of the Democrat party.

By the way, Trump had tried to send Federal officers to help during the wanton violence associated with the BLM protests, but they were not welcomed by the local Democrat leaders. You don't remember that?

Because ~90% of Michigan is a sh*thole?

Implies 10% is not? That's really generous of you, especially for someone who lives in the state and knows better.

Need I say more for the case of people that can, are fleeing MI.
Where are you moving to ams?
From a weather perspective, I would move West if I were you.
AZ in the Flagstaff/Prescott areas
NV in the Northern 1/2 of the state, Reno area has nice spots.
And I am even looking out for your voting impact as both states are purplish so you would have an impact.

Too many hot AF college guys here! Decent cost of living. No drought. No hurricanes. Weather isn’t unbearably hot. Not going to be under water any time soon.

Why would I move?
