I just read up on Donald Trump junior's girl friend, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

The thing that caught my eye (other than her rack, of course) is that she used to be married to Gavin Newsom.

She was a lawyer and DA in California, just like Kamala, but then she went to work as an analyst for CNN.

She left CNN and a couple years later started working for Fox.

So in a two year period ('04 to '06) she did a complete about face and went from being a democrat to being a republican.

Gotta wonder what Donald wonders while in bed with her: "Heh heh heh, I got her now, Gavin."

Boys and their toys.

That is very common for people when their brains fully develop to go from being socialist to republicans. Of course some people don't want to grow up and refuse to mature.

Yes, but it's a huge midlife world view shift.

Just like when Trump changed from democrat to republican.

Like was said above, as we age we see the errors of our ways.

Though Trump never ran as a Democrat nor did he hold crazy Democrat SJW woke views. He just had to go along to get along.

He dealt with the mafia as well, does not mean he was in or supported the mafia.

I do find it unusual how you claim to hate him so but are so infatuated with him.

It's really hard to tell whether he actually ever changed from anything to anything. The guy was hobnobbing with Hollywood because he was a fame whore.

How many of his overt actions are sincere? You can probably keep count on your 10 fingers. I think he just began to realize a new way to get attention. Fox News gave him a constant platform and the rest is history.

People get rich on suckers
Look at Tucker
He was normal on MSNBC making good money
But all the suckers are on the right
So Tucker goes hard right due to all the suckers
These people will believe anything like Trump just won
Talk about deluded suckers.
He's now fabulously wealthy.
Its all about the money and feeding the suckers what they want to hear such as the FBI was behind Jan 6. His ratings go up due to the lies, he makes more money for the network and they reward him with 6 million a year

As the days go by. 2022 is slipping from the Republicans grasp.

"The profile of a typical COVID victim is now an older unvaccinated person who is obese and lives in a rural area, far from a hospital. In other words, this is the same profile as a Trumper."
So this claim goes, I've also heard it claimed that the typical covid victim is all these things except urban and Black.

I think this particular type of schadenfreude is best avoided lest some sort of irony has a visitation on you

Know thine enemy.

Besides, how is knowing more than zero about someone, "Infatuated?"

I happen to know that Donald Trump's mother is from Scotland; though I must have heard it at some other time and subconsciously recollected it. The context of my knowing that is that some Facebook Trumpie idiot maintained that Obama was never the rightful President because his father was from Kenya and an individual, as well as an individual's parents, must have been born in America in order for that individual to be President.

Of course, both of us know that is not at all true. Naturally, I strung the moron along for a bit before laying down the wood with that little factoid. Like a cat playing around with a little mouse knowing it's screwed and has no chance of escape, but the mouse hasn't figured it out yet.

Anyway, people on the Far Right, and Christians (where many are both) rarely ever see the error of their ways. The two biggest errors that they commit are an over-obsession with what other people are doing and accepting different inanities as fact simply because those are what they wish for the facts to be.

For example, without investigating the issue...which would be a simple matter of reading and comprehending the Constitution, the moron declared that Obama was not the rightful POTUS because of a Constitutional provision that she invented, but liked, so decided must be true. Her second mistake was failing to ensure that the same could not be said for the person who she was rigorously defending, one Donald Trump, even though it could be said for him.

Anyway, it's the same thing that it always is. If the Republicans would abandon most of their ridiculous social positions, then their arguments would have a leg to stand on and they might be perceived as sane. The only problem for them is that it would lose them some White Evangelicals---the poorer of whom would arguably be better off with Democrat economic policies, individually-speaking. The second aspect, not that it would be a problem, is that it would basically make the Republicans Libertarians, in effect.

He'd have probably done only slightly better than Bloomberg had he run as a Democrat. Democrats aren't generally going to go for people who they perceive as rich business tycoons. Also, they'd have started digging into Trump's personal and business history and find a great many things that they would perceive as unacceptable in a nominee.

So, what do you do? You become a Republican and virtue signal to the white racist wing of the party---BOOM! Instant base. Arguably sizable enough to give you a chance in the Primaries by themselves, if you have a vast majority of them.

Brilliant marketer and self-promoter, you have to give him that. He identified his target market and successfully appealed to them, to perhaps greater effect than even he intended. I'd think it possible that he's secretly a little creeped out by some of them and he definitely regards a large percentage of them as stupid.
