I read that the original group of demonstrators applied for and received permits for a legal peaceful assembly. They wanted to protest the removal of confederate monuments which is happening all over the south. Many are removed at night and the workers wear masks so no one can identify them.

Your not one of those people that think the civil war was fought over slavery are you? So if the war wasn't fought over slavery [which it wasn't] why are monuments to confederate soldiers deemed to be racist? It's PC hoopla.

I don't want these monuments removed.
