Science and God

One of my sisters in law posts a pic
of trees turning color on FB. All the
other sisters have to chime in about
gods handiwork, gods palate,
gods artwork. They are incapable
of seeing the world without their
god glasses on. I always want to
post a pic of a dead deer in the
woods being eaten by insects
and scavengers. For that too is
gods handiwork, if the rotting
leaves are. But they would get
really angry and not speak to
me for 2 years.

FrG may say there is evidence for god but
no proof, but his brethren say there is
actual proof. On Catholic sites like catholic.org
and Catholic Answers they offer what is to
them iron clad proof of gods existence. It's
stunningly wrong to call any of it proof or
even evidence, but they're preaching to the
choir or looking for double digit IQ converts,
so they can tell any lie they want.

I read it when I posted it. Their whole
argument is based on the faulty
premise that they know what existence
is. They don't.

It also doesn't consider the possibility that you willed yourself into existence, buy don't know that you did, and absolutely everything is just a figment of your own imagination.

They always base their beliefs on treating
an opinion like it's a fact. You can get the
gullible to fall for it, that's about it.

It is not opinion that created things need a creator.

Actually, I have given scientific evidence that points towards the universe having a beginning. What evidence do you have that the universe was not created?

Only if that's your point of view already.
It actually points to it being one possibility
among many. You just pick the one you
like and declare it's fact. You do the same
with sin. There is zero evidence that sin
is anything more than a human concept.
Yet you base an entire religion around it.
Some of us need more than opinions
and 2000 year old myths.
