Diversity for diversity sake is just racism by another name. If you look at today's society it is the left who makes skin color the most important thing.

Yet, this concept seems quite popular among the far right.

Quote:
Reverse racism or reverse discrimination[1][2][3] is the concept that affirmative action and similar color-conscious programs for redressing racial inequality are a form of anti-white racism.[4] The concept is often associated with conservative social movements[4][5] and the belief that social and economic gains by black people in the United States and elsewhere cause disadvantages for white people.[6][7]

Belief in reverse racism is widespread in the United States; however, there is little to no empirical evidence that white Americans suffer systemic discrimination.[Note 1] Racial and ethnic minorities generally lack the power to damage the interests of whites, who remain the dominant group in the U.S.[8] Claims of reverse racism tend to ignore such disparities in the exercise of power and authority, which scholars argue constitute an essential component of racism.[1][2][5]

Allegations of reverse racism by opponents of affirmative-action policies began to emerge prominently in the 1970s[6] and have formed part of a racial backlash against social gains by people of color.[9] While the U.S. dominates the debate over the issue, the concept of reverse racism has been used internationally to some extent wherever white supremacy has diminished, such as in post-apartheid South Africa.

When did we start talking about Berlin Wall era East Germany?

When you defended all the taking away of freedoms the same way a citizen of the GDR praised losing their freedoms.

Nobody mentioned diversity anywhere. Nor the Third Reich. But Godwin thanks you for your comment.

Same reason many want their kids to go to schools without being imposed on by restrictions. or complain about commercial airline rules for masks. It's against their definition of freedom.

Complaining about overbearing rules and purposefully going out and infecting people are two totally different things. You like to vilify all antivaxxers when many of them are very smart and reasonable people who happen to disagree with you. Your position is no more defendable than any bigot who has an issue with a certain class of people and puts them all in the same basket.

Quite popular among anyone who thinks for themselves actually. When we have colleges saying skin color matters thinking people say that is wrong.

Here's a clue...the point wasn't made because I didn't know where E. Germany comment came from, it was made because you brought up something outside the discussion first, and then decided to point out the comparison I made as if you didn't already do it yourself.

Presented without comment.

The total number of deaths in the US from Covid are roughly equivalent to the number of abortions in the US each year.

It is not outside the discussion. It is pointing out what your favoring all the china virus regulations resembles.

Let me be clear then.

Anti-vaxxers with non-rational excuses get no more respect than flat earthers saying they are going to fall off the edge of the world if they go too far. Saying the vaccine is more dangerous than the virus as one example. Or saying other certain medications are effective on their own. IN some cases long before the data could have even been confirmed. And anti-vaxxers using a public platform spreading these falsehoods. And anti-vaxxers who have repeatedly been given the correct information and choose to ignore or deny it.

So, that's a large group. Perhaps there are some anti-vaxxers handicapped mentally or still in complete ignorance, and apologies to them. I'm also not including people who aren't vaccinated due to inability to actually medically tolerate the vaccine, but those technically aren't necessarily anti-vaxxers.

And once you suggest my ideas represented something in a non-democratic authoritarian state, I did the same to you.

Except nobody was talking about "diversity."

Reality is you do not like it being pointed out that the "take away my freedoms to stop the china virus" crowd is the same kind that supported fascists and communists because they promised to make the trains run on time.

Seeing as how many vaxed people are still catching the virus should make you say, "maybe they have a point." But keep doing what the experts tell you to do if you like. It is easier than thinking for yourself.
