To follow your logic then the California liberal zealots shouldn't be able to ban the all the things they do. That is too long a list to post.

The only difference is that you agree with some and you disagree with others. Just because you agree or disagree doesn't make anything right or wrong.

Abortion, like cannabis, is the type of an issue that should have the same provisions nationwide, without variation state by state.

Don't leave it to the states: that allows for unequal outcomes based on identical facts.

Then why even have different states?

So you can have different license plates?

There are always unequal outcomes based on identical facts. If there ever actually were identical facts.

Because it is an issue of such nationwide significance that a nationwide policy is appropriate.

This proposal (power to each state) will only further the political divide that is tearing apart this country, and of course let's not forget that sixty percent of Americans approve of and want abortion to be legal.

But 60% do not approve of abortion to the moment of birth as the Democrats are pushing.

Democrats have known that Roe was likely wrongly decided for a long time and they also knew that challenges to it would come. They had a super majority in the Senate and let the opportunity pass to try and make it law.

That law would have been challenged in court.

The States are the proper place for this to be handled based on the Constitution. The percentage of support is not an argument for or against the ruling that may come.
