Chicken Cordon Bleu(*) topped with creamy tomato sauce and onions.

(*) Sort of. I used turkey "bacon" and over-processed Manchego "cheese" for stuffing the chicken.

chicken cordon bleu is good but not if microwaved has to be baked.

I recently made some lamb stuff so I just used olive oil, pepper and slow baking. Tasted great. The Lamb necks for stewing didn't work out to well though. Didn't know what to stew them in and watered down vinegar didn't work to well. I wanted the meat to fall off the bones; it surely didn't.

Over turkey day I had some pickled salad... mushrooms, peppers, olives, etc all in vinegar oe something. One of the peppers looked like chile peppers but were not at all 'hot'. Light green, shaped like a penant such as might be hoisted aloft. Is this how they are normally served cause I'm used to biting into them and definitely having them bite back very hard.

This "haute cuisine" stuff is difficult and expensive.
Recipes call for such things as mustard seed instead of simply allowing me to squeeze some handy yellow contaner or grope around for some left-over packets from my local Chinese (Vietnamese) restaurant.
I also need things like demara or jaggery instead of simply "sugar".
And what on earth, other than color, is the difference between black cumin and brown cumin?
Where would I find purselane? Or fenugreek seed?

I'm tempted to just find a zechuan Hot Pot in a Chinese Restaurant and do my cooking there. Ain't got no one to take to it though and its too expensive and weird to do it alone.

Way too much work. I invent my own
cuisine. Made hamburger buns out
of grated carrots, eggs, and bread
crumbs last week. Made patties and
flattened them and fried 4min on
a side. Best tasting burger I ever had.

PS. All out of fish sauce. You'll have to bring your own.

I don't want no mouse, chocolate or otherwise, but tell me about the daughter. She rich?

I actually had a Christmas Dinner the other afternoon:
Ham, candied sweet potatoes and apple-spinach salad. It was from one of those in-store chef demonstrators. Small plate though. No seasonal beverage though. Actually no beverage at all.

Well, I just fed the feral cats their Christmas feast. Now, for myself, it looks like its going to be Shredded Wheat and some milk and later in the day, two apples. No trips to the Sally though. None. Long lines, long sermons, long walk. Lousy food. Hate that place. Glad I was able to get a little something extra for the animals though. Even wished them a Merry Christmas though I'm sure its just another day to them. Its pretty much just another day for me too.
