Now I have a lot of cabbage left over, even though I made a big pan of stir-fry shredded cabbage with soy sauce and veggies.

I expect I'll make cabbage soup and freeze it...

I can't wait. Johnsonville makes a bratwurst that is called Irish O'Garlic and the supermarkets in my area only sell them around St. Patrick's day. Last year I bought five packages and they were gone in a few months. This year I plan on buying at least ten packages and possibly a case of them. Fortunately I have three freezers so storing them won't be an issue.

May they last until the 18th.

I had an alligator pear recently (avacado) so I'm going to give another try on that avacado seed for its nutritional value.

I'm thinking about adding a can of cream of poblano or cream of mushroom to a pot of cabbage soup...

I got this thus far:

cabbage
soybean sprouts
bell pepper
carrots
white beans
lentils
milk
cream of mushroom
chicken bouillon
white wine

Maybe also potatoes, and I'm thinking chicken ought to go well with it (whatever it turns out to be; clearly it stopped being soup a while ago)

Definitely chicken, too.

and onions, garlic and ginger, but those go without saying.

I'm steaming cauliflower right now. By the time its steamed the butter should be defrosted as well. When I do the second head that I bought ... anyone suggest any spices that can go with it? Or an accompanying item such as Nutella hazelnut and chocolate stuff or pepperjack cheeze?
