Yes, that's why demonology is taught to
psychiatrists at the university, and is a big
part of their private practices. Everyone
knows that demons are the cause of many
deep rooted mental problems.

Good grief, and you wonder why atheists
don't take religion seriously. You also
believe that Ouija boards are connected
to demons, when how Ouija boards really
work has been shown exhaustively over
the last 100 years.

Christianity is still the bastion of superstition,
nonsense, and downright lunacy. But it's
changing, finally. It has to or disappear entirely.

think demon possession is real and not a
mental illness acting itself out for a willing
audience?

Here's what the American Psychiatric Association
says about demonic possession:

"Most cases of demonic possession have masked major psychiatric disorder. Our aim is to increase awareness that symptoms of schizophrenia are still being classified as demonic possession by priests today. Patient insight is an important factor in response to treatment, so religious professionals should encourage appropriate psychiatric treatment and learn about mental illnesses."

Your Church still lives in the Dark Ages when
mental disorders were treated as demon
possession. What a huge disservice you do
the mentally ill in your congregation, treating
them with superstition and voodoo, when
the real treatment is right here in modern
medicine. It's almost criminal.
